Great All around
Communication was wonderful. Response time was quick. They allowed us to check in really late due to our travel issue with no issues at all. The cabin was the cleanest place we have ever stayed in by far. Not even a speck of dust. There was cold water bottles in the fridge, microwave popcorn, plenty of kitchen supplies, and the best homemade bread and apple butter on the counter to greet us. There’s a fire pit and and play area for kids. Also pristine. The basement was a garage/family room combo that my son took over for his man cave. With a huge U-shaped sectional, tv, foosball. Washer and dryer on-site was wonderful! Location was 5-10 minutes from everything we wanted to do. The only thing that would have made this the perfect place to stay was a king size bed- just because my husband and I are on the large size and used to a king. (Oh and a hair dryer because stupid me forgot to pack one lol) They have really thought of everything to make it feel like home away from home.

Great little get away cabin

Great family getaway
Beautiful, clean, and perfect for our little family of 5. Cabin was well stocked and was close to many local restaurants and attractions. Bread and apple butter there when we arrived was delicious! No complaints here!

Loved that this house was so welcoming and comfortable for us. It wasnt too far out but far enough to relax and enjoy the evening with family. The cabin was well stocked with amenities should we have needed them. We really loved the fire pit/grill and chairs to relax by. I ended up buying one myself locally to bring back home because we enjoyed it so much. This was our third yr to visit Holmes county, but first time to stay in this cabin vs a hotel and we will definitely be booking here again next yr, Lord willing. Everything was clean and enjoyable - thanks for sharing your property!

Beautiful cabin in an Awesome location Owners were super helpful with things to do and places to go. Was a kid friendly cabin with our toddler loving the playground while the adults enjoyed the quiet scenic porch and cabin interior. Plan to return for sure!!

Great time!
Our stay was great. The cabin, cleanliness, location, peace and quiet- everything was just great! Loved the hospitality of the hosts with the stocked home, apple butter and bread. You could literally arrive with forgetting your shampoo and toothbrush and they have that covered. We had a great time and plan to stay there again next time we visit Amish country!

This property was just what we were looking for when looking for a vacation rental. Our two little boys loved the play sets. We went on many “adventures” in the Jeep. The cabin itself was very clean, private, and overall relaxing. Would highly recommend for families.

Adorable log cabin.
Well built and maintained authentic log cabin in a lovely setting. Pleasant front porch and back screened porch with bucolic view. Only criticisms are poor lighting in main bedroom—impossible to apply makeup there, no reading lights anywhere and no working clock in the bedroom. Plus, no tv on main level and no Wi-Fi. Otherwise, very pleasant.

Great cabin to stay at. Only thing I would say is if your bringing kids, a t.v upstairs would have been great. If they add a t.v upstairs this will always be the cabin I stay at when visiting amish country.

Great Stay!
Cabin was clean and welcoming. Fresh bread and apple butter along with the fully stocked Keurig made our stay even better! There was firewood available for the fire pit which we enjoyed. The host was very responsive. The notes left for various items as well as suggestions for eats and adventure were welcomed! Our little girl absolutely loved the play sets as well as the blocks! Will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway
The property was excellent. One of the reasons we picked it was for the play area for the kids. They had a blast. The house was VERY clean. Beds were comfortable as well. Loved the fresh bread and cookies that the owners left for us. Very welcoming and would stay there again.

Home away from home!
This property is breathtakingly beautiful! It has a loft bedroom great for kiddos, a foosball table (many tournaments were played), and wonderful porch views. We spent valuable family time together cooking meals, playing games, and unwinding in this gorgeous and well maintained cabin. I highly recommend and we cannot wait to return!

Peaceful retreat from the city
We enjoyed a calm, quiet weekend in this cozy cabin. Easy access to Sugarcreek and other local attractions. Very welcoming environment with homemade bread and apple butter and a Keurig fully stocked. Slightly warmer temps would have allowed us to enjoy the fire pit and screened backed porch area more, but the cold didn't keep us from taking in the beautiful, clear and starry sky.

Our girlfriends weekend
Myself and three friends who have known eachother for over 30 years spent the weekend. The property was off the beaten path which we loved, was very clean and had the comforts of home. Cindy, the owner, was quick to respond with answers to questions. We loved it and would definitely visit again.

Positive experience.
It was a great cabin. The only negative was the beds. We had my elderly mother with us, she ended up sleeping on the couch because she couldn't climb the steps and the bed in the downstairs bedroom was way too low for her to get up and down in. She didnt mind sleeping on the couch, but updated beds would be nice. Other than that it was clean and beautiful.

Love location to see buggies of Amish daily. The fire pit was wonderful with an abundance of fire
loved the location and saw many Amish buggies up and down the lane. We had an abundance of firewood. We spent most of our time until late evening watched the sky clouds and full moon . We feel one bath room was not enough for our group. The beds were also hard and we could have used a few more pillows .

Beautiful cabin that sleeps 6 near Sugarcreek. Looks brand new. Wonderful outside fire-ring with provided wood and chairs. Kitchen nicely stocked. Could use some updates in the bedding. All felt the beds were uncomfortable. So clean you could eat off the floor! We had 7 people so one slept on the couch in the basement. Beautiful surroundings, however, neighbors are close. The Yoders were very accomodating and very welcoming.

Stayed here for a girls weekend and had a great time. The owners filled the frig and had everything ready when we got there. The location was close to many of the places we like to visit in Amish country and was easy to get around. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a country experience.

Stop looking, you've found the best cabin out there!
This gorgeous cabin is a wonderful home away from home! The owners are very hospitable and made my group feel very welcome. It's close enough to the lovely small town of Sugarcreek, OH yet just far enough out of town to feel like you're in the country. The nearby roads were perfect for morning runs and afternoon walks. The view of the stars from this location at night will take your breath away. Overall this cabin is a great place to unwind and get away from it all. We look forward to booking this location again!

Perfect Getaway
The stay at the cabin was great! This area and surrounding areas are one of a kind as is this property. My girlfriend and I were amazed by the hospitality provided by both Cindy and Ivan. Very clean home and includes all essentials. The craftsmanship is amazing. Cindy and Ivan went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning.

We loved staying here
I highly recommend staying at the cabin. Everything was perfect. The cabin was so very clean. The screened in back porch was so relaxing to sit on. The owners were so nice and provided a stocked refrigerator along with a fresh loaf of bread with homemade apple butter and fresh baked cookies. We plan to stay there again.

We were impressed!
We have been to Holmes County many times over the years and this is one of the best places we've found. The cabin is spacious and roomy, yet comfortable and homey. The huge kitchen is wonderful. The fridge is stocked and homeade goodies set out. We enjoyed 2 nights of good sleep in very comfortable beds. Our hosts were inviting and friendly. This is a place that will be at the top of our getaway list!
