Overall great stay

Positives: Plenty of space, clean, pool table, well-stocked home, great communication, nice yard for dogs to run, easy check-in/ check-out process. Negatives: hot tub is inconveniently located, disappointing views (no mountains, yard trees only), loft bedroom has no noise barrier, home decor is very dark.

A slice on mountain heaven

The property was clean and well stocked. The beds were all comfortable and adequate hvac coverage was available throughout the house. The basement provided a lot of entertainment during our stay and the location to town, Over Yonder, hiking, etc was all great. Even our dogs had a relaxing time in the house and exploring the spacious fenced in yard. Thank you for having us. You have a beautiful home!

Fantastic house

Loved the place! Great layout and kitchen was well stocked. Gorgeous view and close to waterfall hikes and less then 30 min for skiing folks. Would highly recommend this place.

Perfect

This was an awesome house to stay at! The only thing that was a surprise was that there was no ice maker in the fridge so we didn’t have ice in the otherwise very well stocked kitchen. There were lots of great touches like marshmallow sticks for the fire pit, tons of kitchen supplies, good wifi, an amazing view, and nice decorations throughout the home. There was some dog hair on the couch pillows, but overall the house was very clean and we would gladly come back and stay!

The property as described, beautiful location, had some issues but property manager responded quickly, would use the rental agency again , but would not choose a pet friendly home had some issues with dog hair. Love animals, but didn't bring one . Overall good experience, beautiful home.

Beautiful! Views for days.

Love this spacious home. My only negative comment is that the master bedroom is more of a loft and is not closed in completely. So if you are trying to sleep in and others are not, it gets noisy. Property is close enough to amenities but still feels secluded and very private. The kids had a great time exploring the outdoors and the yard. Very clean! Gorgeous wood throughout. We will definitely go back!

Refreshing

What a beautiful cabin! It had everything we needed and more as the basement is filled with fun things for everyone. We spent alot of our time on the porch soaking in the sun and the view. If we were really quiet deer would visit the front lawn of the cabin. My family and I all agree we would come back again.

Beautiful views and very clean, spacious home.

We had a wonderful time staying at Mounaineer Manor. Very beautiful and clean- plenty of room for our family of 5. The views and the fireplace were just perfect. We even enjoyed the Sonos sound system throughout the home. Plenty of essential necessities- just bring your food and your all set. The dryer didn’t work very well- so trying to do our laundry before leaving was a bit of a drawn out process. Other than that the house was great!

This property lived up to the pictures and descriptions and then some! Amazing view, beautiful property, all of the amenities needed plus, gorgeous decorating and impeccable cleanliness. Location was good as well. Great time!

Great property in NC High Country

We came from the SC Lowcountry up the NC High Country and couldn't have asked for more in the rental property. The house is modern and well-furnished. The kitchen had everything to make meals and was well-stocked with dishes and appliances. The basement was great to watch some football and was roomy enough for everyone. The main floor was great and the gas fireplace was a delight every morning. The deck on the front of the house offered great views and comfy chairs to drink some coffee and relax. My 3-year-old loved the bunk bed and the kid's room. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Short drive to Boone, Grandfather Mtn, and we made a trip to TN to do some trout fishing.

A wonderful week at Mountaineer Manor

My husband & I had a fantastic week along with our dog at Mountaineer Manor. The house is amazing - super comfy furniture, fully stocked kitchen & we loved the whole house speaker system. It's an easy drive into Boone & to get to other area attractions. We had a few days of rain but there was plenty to do inside that it wasn't an issue for us. We would highly recommend this cabin & Blue Ridge Mountain rentals. Communication was great & check in/check out was a breeze. Thanks again for letting us stay at your cabin!

Perfect mountain getaway!

This place exceeds our expectation in every way. The house is tastefully decorated, clean, and spacious. Location is excellent, private, quiet, and yet not too far from all the attractions. We stayed in summer but considering coming back again in fall/winter. Highly recommend to all.

Perfect fit

Something for everyone, 9 in all. Space for children to play in the downstairs while parents and grandparents enjoyed upper two levels. Great and restful views from both inside and outside. The huge fenced dog yard was great for a dog run since leash laws were in effect on all parks and trails. In all a perfect staging facility for enjoying a week of enjoying nature.

Wonderful place to get away

Our family of 2 adults, 3 kids (9, 12, 15) and 2 labs enjoyed our stay. Seamless check in. House was clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen well equipped. Had brew coffeemaker and Keurig. Entire family enjoyed the pool table. We really appreciated having the large fenced area for our dogs to run around. One morning my husband saw 10 deer behind the house when taking the dogs out. If Mountaineer Manor is available on our next visit to NC mountains, we would happily stay here again.

Winter Lockdown

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a couple inches of snow and ice upon arrival- which we expected. What we didn’t expect was the need to have tire chains to get up to the house. We were warned if the need for 4WD- which we had- but you aren’t getting to the house without chains if there has been ice. We found a plow truck got to take pity on us and buy us some to get up the driveway. We didn’t leave the property the rest of the trip for fear we couldn’t get back up. Good place to be stuck inside for days- but that wasn’t our plan. Have chains appropriate for your truck and you’ll be fine. Lovely location and house.
