"Walkway from driveway, beside the house, and around to the front door was not easy to walk on using a walking cane. Walkway was made up of large and small pieces of broken flat stone. House was clean, warm with heater on, shower was great and easy to step into. Everything worked well. Did not use hot tub or outside fireplace but they were available. "

"This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. It’s also very close to Appalachian State University. We stayed and went to a football game at the college then came back to relax. "I was taking my first solo trip with my dog. I have never visited western NC and was unsure of where to stay. After visiting the surrounding towns, I was glad that I chose to stay here. It was a chill place to relax after a day of exploring. This tiny house had everything I needed. All the towns in that area are very welcoming to dogs. My sweet 12 year old pup was a big hit.
