Berys, Thanks for the review and the tips to make Beachshore more comfortable for travelers. I will write a Note where to find the Iron and the Ironing Board. The Rubbish is managed weekly by a service provider, who takes the relevant bins to the street and who cleans them prior to taking them back to our property. Maybe we will see you again one day. Glenn, I am happy to respond to your comments: • you are correct that the house does not have air-conditioning, but this is clearly mentioned in the description. We have installed ceiling fans as response of the review • In none of the pictures posted on the web or in any description we advertise that the house has a lawn (on which your dogs can poo?) It has a tropical garden, but not lawn • It’s a fact that dog poo was all over the garden. This can be substantiated by photos and the cleaner • It is also fact that the pool filters were clogged by dog hair. Photos are available • As Byron Council only collects rubbish every second week, one week red, the next yellow, it can sit for 2 weeks in hot weather . Had you informed me or the property manager, we would have arranged for it to be picked up and cleaned. • The cabana was damaged by a storm during lock down and unfortunately I have not been able to replace the roof due to supply chain issues. We have followed up many times but they are still waiting for delivery • The dishwasher works ok but needs a new basket for the bottom. Overall, the house appeals to most of our clients as evidenced by the ratings. The house is advertised as a simple but comfortable Beachhouse in a great location and is priced in accordance. Joerg

Dear Digijay, Thanks for taking the time to comment on your stay at Beachshore and we appreciate your comments on the five star location, between Beach, Suffolk Park Bakery , The Park Hotel and Chupacabra Mexican Food. In regards to some of your more detailed comments I would like to inform you that we have taken steps to fix most of the issues you have mentioned. The house was never advertised as airconditioned, but we have by now installed ceiling fans in all bedrooms, which make a major difference to the airflow. In the process we have also replaced all lights with LED downlights. Thank you for the hint. We have finally received the reed tiles for the cabana and have been able to restore the roof, We have also restored all flyscreens for the windows and doors. I hope we have the chance to have you as a guest again. All the best Joerg

Dear Tu giac H, I am sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with the house. The reasons you are stating were No Air conditioning and not enough Toilet paper for 10 people. The house is self contained and we always supply enough toilet paper and other required supplies for a few days. Otherwise we expect that guests will shop and resupply for further usage. Sorry to hear that you had trouble with the internet. We never had any trouble with the Wifi and have been working from home from our Byron Residence. We are on a premium Telstra NBN contract for particular that reason. Apologies if you had any issues, but it is generally out of our control. Both of the issues could have been rectified if you had called us or our Manager. In regards to the Aircondition I note that it states in the advertisement that the house is not air conditioned. I hope that you otherwise enjoyed the Pool the garden and the closeness to the Beach. Considering the cost per person per night you paid less than in the Byron Bay Backpackers. Kind Regards Joerg
