"My son and I absolutely loved (!!!) staying here. Tom is so nice and personable, and he provided great recommendations for places to eat and visit. It was also fun that he could chat some about recent history of Freiburg. The rooms were clean and well-heated, and the showers and whirlpool tub were great! Modern. Excellent hot water and rainfall showerhead. The location, in my opinion, cannot be beat. It’s only two blocks from Munsterplatz. My teenage son loved the privacy and rustic (in a clean,...

"The bedsit was lovely and clean, and had everything that we needed, the access to the garden really helped with the dog. The kitchen was useable, (only the kettle didn't pour very well, more on the tops than the cups!) :) - Better kettle needed. It was a nice touch to have a welcome brochure, only the map of the walk round town could do with being a little bigger. The other nice thing was the toiletries a great bonus.Shower was greatBed comfyI was a little confused how I got the key but managed...

"Beautifully appointed apartment in a superb location. Fantastic communication from our host, including local sightseeing and restaurant tips. Hot tub on the roof top was a lovely way to relax in the afternoon. Points to note are that it's a penthouse and there's no lift. Also, double check the sleeping arrangements will work for you if your party is more than 2 people."

"Pros: The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. There was nothing we needed that wasn't available, and there were even toys for the kids to play with. The location on the edge of the village of Gunterstal was just right for us as it was quiet and green yet just a 15 minute tram ride from central Freiburg (and the tram stop is right outside). There are trails into the forest right on the doorstep, and the bus to the Schauinsland cable car station was very convenient too. All in all it was...
