Cozy with a view

My family and I recently had the most amazing stay at the secluded mountain cabin.The peaceful surroundings and stunning views left me in awe from the moment we arrived. The cabin itself was well maintained cozy, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful and well appointed cabin. Incredible mountain views. A 4WD car was recommended for access, and rightfully so. The final pitch up the hill was steep! A fantastic stay. Many thanks.

Disappointed

Property was as described, and well equipped; however there were live ladybugs on the 2nd floor bed and in the bathroom, and dead and live wasps on the 1st floor and door leading out to the deck. We left after the 1st night of a 2 night reservation and informed the owner, with no response. Otherwise we would have stayed, really did like the location and view. Owner needs to be clear in the property description that a 4wd vehicle is necessary to get to the property, we didn't know until well after the reservation was made. I have a Wrangler so no problems.

Extended Weekend Getaway

My wife and I were searching for a cozy place to stay for a weekend getaway. We wanted to explore the beautiful area and visit some wineries nearby. And lo and behold, we stumbled upon the perfect cabin in Suches! It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The best part? You could watch the sunrise over a breathtaking deck that overlooked the majestic mountains. It was an absolute dream come true!

Just the break i needed

Just what the doctor ordered! Great little cabin tucked up out of the way from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. So glad the cloud cover broke for a couple of nights allowing me to take in the stars! Andrea was fantastic with communications. Enjoyed my time here and would recommend for those looking to escape the city for a couple of days.

Get a lift kit

This is my first review, so take this as a sign. I have no one to blame about the “required 4X4” situation. It was indeed on the original info about the house but it was tucked away at the bottom and easy to miss. Luckily my vehicle is All Wheel Drive and we made it up but it is fairly low and there was a lot of unavoidable scraping happening due to the terrain of the road. There should be photos of the driveway and the nature of the driveway should be in the title of the description. It is a deal breaker of a driveway. Photos of the house on VRBO are not up to date. The area pictured with gravel and grilling area is no longer the same. The gravel has been taken over by uncut grass. The grill has even been moved to the deck which is a tell sign the “grilling & hangout” area is no longer. The deck is in pitiful shape. There are holes in the decking and missing pieces on the handrails big enough for your child to fall through. There is even a side of hand rails marked “TEMPORY” I assume short for temporary, who knows? With the 10 am check out I would have expected the spider webs to be knocked away. We were left with 1/4 of a paper towel roll for a 2 night stay. There was a drawer in the kitchen with half opened to-go plasticware from the nearest fast food restaurant. We decided to leave a day early, the house was not as expected and once I got down the driveway I was not interested in going back up. The view is great but the place needs work.

Fantastic view! Comfortable cabin.

Definitely a remote location, take everything you need, especially alcohol, as it is a dry county. However, once you’re there you don’t need to leave. Cabin has an amazing view and very comfortable. 4wd is advised, probably not a necessity, but helpful. The deck and outside area needs a little TLC, but the view can make up for a little cosmetic needs. Overall, great place!

Awesome cozy and quiet place

Loved our stay here, it was a nice ,cozy, relaxing and quiet experience! Wonderful mountains view. Definitely worth the drive up the mountain. This cabin had absolutely everything you would need to stay.

Mountain getaway

This is probably one of the nicest cabins I have stayed in. It has a wonderful few and everything we needed for a nice getaway. But make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the driveway.

Very nice

Loved the fact it was just about only 4wd accessible. No one came by our cabin all weekend. Wifi great. Cabin great. A hot tub would have put it over the top. Awesome. This is where you want to go to get away from it all.

Cabin on side of a mountain

We loved our stay. Cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. 2 1/2 bathrooms is perfect. We didn’t want for anything. Has heater in bathrooms and bedroom and main one in living room. Perfect. Beautiful views, loved having a fire and cooking over it outside. Definitely couldn’t have made it there without a 4-wheel drive. Definitely would go back.

Cozy and Peaceful Getaway

We stayed there Thanksgiving week and it was everything we hoped for! The house was cozy and the heat worked great and kept the house comfortable. The views were breathtaking!! The hammocks and swing on the porch were a big hit. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive going up to the house. It is very secluded. The owner Andrea was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful views!

Our first time in the north Georgia mountains and it did not disappoint. The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. Quiet, remote and a great view. *A 4-wheel is a must to get up the hill to the property.* Once up, you will have all you need to be comfortable. The bed was comfy and the heating units worked really well when the temps dropped. The hammocks on the deck were a great place to relax. Wi-Fi and cell service was great, too. Perfect place to get away from it all.

Breathtaking views and cozy stay

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was cozy, clean, and matched the pictures in the listing. The mountain view off the back porch while swinging on the hammock is an absolute necessity when staying here. The host responded to our questions and provided the cabin details in a timely manner. I would recommend this cabin if you are looking in this area between Blue Ridge and Dahlonega!
