The cabin was beautiful, relaxing, comfortable and clean. Communication with the host was great. Being right on the river was fun, the fishing was really good. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. We would love the come back!

We booked this cabin for a family fishing/getaway. We didnt leave all weekend. We got walmart to deliver our groceries. Cooking was easy because of the fully furnished kitchen. The trout in the river are huge. We fished, enjoyed the wonderful firepit, the hottub was one of the best. We just enjoyed nature and our family all weekend. Would definitely book here again.

I can’t find anything that I would change about this property. Maybe having the outside light on a timer. We did arrive after dark and had a heck of a time finding our way up the steps and to the front door without falling down the steps or up.

New Favorite Cabin on the Upper Toccoa River!

Pros; The location of this property is excellent. We really enjoyed feeling somewhat secluded. There are other cabins nearby but not super close! We loved the steps going down to the river along with the screened in porch so it’s safe for young children. The water is about waist deep in this area but it didn’t bother us. Perfect for swimming or fishing. Cons; The house was clean but there were some little things that weren’t done before we arrived. A couple little trash cans didn’t have bags in them already, and the bathroom rugs for the shower weren’t on the floor. I’m guessing just a couple of things that were forgotten about. However, our trash can bin was full when we got there and we had to place our bags beside the bin for the rest of our stay. It wasn’t a big inconvenience, but we did have to smell trash everyday. Also if you are planning on cooking for a group I would bring deeper/ bigger pots and pans as you need.Overall, we loved the location of this cabin and will definitely stay here again!

Great mountain getaway

We had a great time at Riversong. It was the perfect time of year with beautiful weather. The house and property are beautiful, well maintained, and very comfortable. We used the hot tub and loved it. The windy back roads up the mountain to get there caused some car sickness for the kids so keep in mind, it's in the deep North mountains of GA, but very secluded and serene once you get there. The property manager was great at communicating, however, you lose service up the mountains, so thankfully the door lock code came in before we arrived. We ran into an issue with approving our late checkout only 1 hour before the original checkout time. It didn't allow for a slow morning since we were questioning if we were going to be allowed to stay or not. It'd be nice to have been approved the night before. Also, the bedrooms and bathrooms had quite a few ladybugs crawling up walls, on pillows, etc. Otherwise, perfect mountain getaway. Kids of all ages loved it!

Time on the Toccoa and Chattahoochee national forest

Beautiful cabin on the Toccoa river with a perfect deck to relax or fish. Minuets away from great fishing in the chattahoochee national forest, swinging bridge and much more! Joni was great host with top notch communication!
