The house was beautiful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion is to tell people in your description that you need an SUV or all-terrain vehicle. Had we not had 4-wheel drive, we would not made it to the house - or down the drive. They are doing some work with a back-hoe on the road and it was daunting to get to the house. Also, the house is not marked well. We got there after dark due to heavy traffic and literally it took 30 minutes for us to find which house we were to be at. The sign "River Haven" needs to be much closer to the road and lit somehow. Lights were on - which we appreciated. But the next day in the daylight when we saw the true condition of the road, it was pretty scary to think about coming in pitch black dark. But the house itself couldn't have been better. You can tell someone has put a lot of thought and effort in making it welcoming and comfortable.

Had potential, but was semi disappointing! We have stayed in VRBO and Airbnb rentals all over the country, and have never left a review with any negatives. There were to many issues with this property not too. Most of these issues isolated wouldn't have been a huge deal.Upon arrival the yard and driveway yard were completely flooded, due to a water hose that was left on. Within 30 minutes we noticed the hot tub was unplugged. It didnt heat up enough to use until 9pm on the final night of our 3 night stay. Next, we settled in on the dusty, cob web filled screend in porch. Our young boys playing barefoot with their hotwheels came across a broken light bulb on the porch deck, that had shattered glass scattered on the porch. The side portion of the porch had several loose boards, and a handrail that is ready to give way. The grass was unkept, which only added to the gnats. The bank of the river hasn't been weedeated most likely since last year. While helping my son fish on the bank, I had a rattlesnake that was hidden in the 18" tall grass slither across the back of my foot.The upstairs bathroom shower leaked into the downstairs hallway after my mother in law took a shower. Lastly, we kept noticing the noise as traffic went by and thought it sounded like a window was open, but knew we hadn't opened one. After further investigation, on the last night, we found both windows in the master bedroom open at the top. We attempted to close them, but were unable to keep them closed.

Great .Some people would not like it because of the loaction and getting there. Perfect for us . 4

Just right for us. My buddies from Ala.and Tenn. Central loction We did alot of trout fishing.4 streams to fish.This was our fishing trip we have been fishing and hunting togethet for 35 years.

Relax and Recharge

My family and I were looking for a place to relax and to enjoy some quiet time together. This property offered all of that and more. We loved sitting by the fire at night listening to the river flowing in the background. The house was amazing, comfortable beds, plenty of room to sit and watch tv together. We definitely accomplished our goal for this trip

Suches River Haven

Very nice home on a peaceful river in Suches, GA. The kitchen had a full complement of dishes and cutlery. There were all the appliances you have back home. 4 bedrooms, including two lofts, were comfortable. The master bath has an upgraded walk-in shower. The deck has a screened porch, a hot tub, and a gas grill. The home has a nice creek in the front yard, perfect for tubing. A swallow has made its home above the hot tub, providing entertainment as the pair feeds their chicks. Location is down a country gravel road, with great walks right out the front door. The Chatahoochie Natl Park and Sea Creek Waterfall are nearby. Overall, an excellent rental.

Unsettling neighbor

Unsettling neighbor will get upset if you approach the property line. No toaster and a lack of glassware. Plenty of old plastic cups. A secure trash bin outside would be good. Keeping full trash bags in the house is not a great option. Flapping metal roof section kept many of us up at night. Please fix that before the next renter.

Relaxing Get Away

Delightful location with river access steps away from the back deck. A bit cool during our stay but we planned ahead and loaded up with wood before we arrived to use around the fire pit.
