Was a nice clean place, but the owner needs to inform everyone of the nasty water smell when using the water, mainly hot water. This is an important issue that should be disclosed on the initial listing and not on a note taped to the mirror in the bathroom. Everything else was very nice, clean, and orderly.

Cozy, very clean, beautifully appointed log cabin home, off the beaten path from the busy-ness of Rte 42 but easily accessible to all the peninsula has to offer on both Rtes 42 & 57. Owners Fran & Al are lovely people who want to ensure their renters have the best experience possible while staying in their labor of love that is the Quilted Log! We’ll definitely plan future stays here!

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at your cabin. Your attention to detail and the way you have decorated the cabin is so nice especially with the quilts. We were able to get to Fish Creek for breakfast at the White Gull Inn, do some shopping, traveled north from there for ice cream and a visit to see the goats on the roof. Our visit with you and Al was a highlight of our stay. You two go above and beyound to make your guest feel welcome. Tell Al we did have breakfast at the tractor restaurant. It was delicious. Thanks for the fabric, my daughters and I went through it all and sorted by Christmas and color. They were so happy and send a big THANK YOU. We will put it to good use. Such a beautiful home that the owners clearly take much pride in sharing with their guests. Great centralized location to enjoy door county while having a peaceful and relaxing stay away from noise or traffic.

Fran and Al are great hosts. Such a nice couple. We love their little cabin in the woods. It was very convenient for our visit with our friends who live 15 minutes away. So quiet and peaceful. Friends Stay

Two friends took a couple days in Door Co to enjoy beautiful weather, sit by the water, do a little shopping, eat goid food, and get some sunshine. The Quilt Cottage was a log home in a sweet woods. It was emaculately clean however had only a few amenities like salt/pepper, pam spray, hand soap but no shower soap or other items. Being a log home, it was a bit musky plus the water is sulfery so not really drinkable and smelled quite a bit in the shower. The home has a lovely new shower insert, new kitchen, and beautiful quilts. We were a little worried about using the quilts, although allowed, as we did not want to damage them. The hosts were kind and very available. We'd stay again as a few friends, but come better prepared with bottled water, beach towel, extra blankets, and kitchen and bath needs.

We enjoyed our stay in Door County and the Quilted Log cabin! The cabin was very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. It is centrally located so we were able to enjoy Jacksonport, Egg Harbor and Baileys Harbor. We also discovered the new public pickleball and tennis courts at the Sevastopol Town Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Log Cabin

This charming log cabin is tucked away in a quiet wooded area, yet is close to most of the activities offered in Door County. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Door County Cabin

The cabin is located in a wooded area so you do have to drive to anything you may want to do, but in Doot County the drive can be 10 minutes or 30 minutes, not a big deal. Cabin was clean with plenty of room for four people, nice appliances that we did use. Owners are across the road so check in was as easy as opening the door, that was it.

Perfect getaway spot

A bunch of friends and I stayed at Fran and Al's cabin before summer kicked off. It was a perfect location near Egg Harbor. After a day full of fun adventures and memories, it's the perfect yet cozy spot to relax. Thank you for making our weekend fun yet memorable.

This cozy cabin was the perfect place to stay for a short relaxing weekend! The place was hidden away from the main areas but still very close to a lot of great places to eat and wineries. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Cozy Cabin in great location in Door County.

It was a great stay. Has everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Door County. Private location and close to all major areas. Easy to get to upper Door by by passing the in between towns. Located close to great restaurants and wineries. Cabin is clean, fast internet and comfortable beds. The hosts are very responsive and provide great instructions for check in and exit. I would stay again!

Door County Getawat

The Quilted Log Cabin is the perfect place to stay when you want to enjoy all that Door County has to offer and have a welcoming home to go to at the end of the day. So peaceful, quiet and cozy, we actually set aside time each day to just hang out in the cabin because we enjoyed it so much. It is beautifully decorated and maintained with all of the comforts of home and then some. Don’t miss this hidden gem!
