Week on the Bay

The accommodations were great. The owner was very responsive when we had a small issue. It was handled immediately. Thank you very much. Beautiful views and location. It’s a great spot to launch any Door County adventure you care to pursue.

Great view, and location

The house was very clean, plenty of towels, etc. Nice and quiet, the back deck is maybe 20' from the water's edge (2nd floor), so having the dual sliding doors open was really nice to be able to listen to the waves, and enjoy the breeze. Door County Coffee is five minutes up the road if you're looking for a good cup of coffee in the morning. Overall everything was pretty nice. We would stay there again.

If you're looking for glamor and glitz, skip over Panorama. But if you're looking for the comfort and coziness of home, with the added complete serenity found on the deck listening to the waves lap against the shore, this is the place for you! The home was immaculately clean, beds were comfortable, and the house was exactly as described. Every single room has a view of the bay, but most of our time was spent on the deck, watching surises, gulls and cormorants, sunsets, stars that go on forever and even the Northern Lights. We had two minor issues during our stay, and Bill was extremely responsive and friendly...easy to work with. This was our first visit to Door County, and we'll definitely be back to Panorama. Thank you for creating such a peaceful spot for people to get away!

TV issues

Place is great! Have stayed here before and love the deck and view. Issues with tv working had owner on phone then some guy from Joliet Illinois who understood or put in Roku. It worked for a few days then no signal. Lights under cupboards did not work. Would like to see fire pit out of rocks for older people to enjoy

Wonderful Guest House with Amazing Views!

This is a fantastic property. The guest house had everything we needed, and the views were unbelievable. When sitting in the living room or on the deck, you see nothing but water. We had some windy days, and it was fun hearing the waves crash on the shore. On calmer days, we swam right off the property. We cooked several nights, and were so impressed at how well the kitchen was stocked. The location is also perfect; mid-way between the cute town of Egg Harbor and larger town of Sturgeon Bay. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to stay here again.

Location

Fabulous location and view, very quiet, a perfect location for being on the lake for a week. One note for the owner: we saw signs of carpenter ants along the sliding door frame leading out to the deck. Happy to let him know where if he wants to reach out.

A Delightful Place!

This is a delightful home right on the water with gorgeous views of the sunsets. The owners/hosts are responsive and gracious. As others have noted, the home is very well appointed, both with things you would expect (linens, towels, pots and pans, dishes), but also things you might not (electric kettle, coffee maker, rice cooker, blender, a variety of cheese knives, a variety of types of drinking classes). I have stayed here twice--once when it was quite warm (in the 80s) and once when it was chilly (in the 40s and low 50s), so I can tell you that both the central air and the central heating work very well! A lovely home for your Door County stay.

Spectacular Views

Charming guest house

We really enjoyed are stay. Nice outdoor space and deck right on the water. We were fortunate to see the Northern Lights from the deck one evening. Location was great, only 10-45 minutes to everything. I wish our schedule would have allowed at least 1 day to relax at the house. Would stay here again.

Peaceful, quiet, million dollar view

This guest cottage was super clean, well stocked so all you need to bring is food and your clothes. It is tastefully decorated with amazing views of the bay with absolutely breathtaking sunsets. It is the perfect combination of seclusion and location. It is not far from the quaint harbor towns that dot the peninsula. We loved staying here.

Perfect in Every Way

The Panorama was just perfect for a Door County vacation. The house was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities one could ask for. The wooded, bay front location was perfect for hanging out at the cabin, and situated so that you can get everywhere on the peninsula with enough time to enjoy the scenery before reaching your destination. The owners provided books, games, cd players, a tv (which wasn't turned in once!), fishing poles, travel guides and suggestions for healthcare, dining, shopping, activities, etc. The owners were extremely responsive when we encountered a hornet's nest beneath the front porch. A handyman responded within minutes, and pest control followed up the next day. We can't recommend the Panorama highly enough, and look forward to our next stay!!

Great vacation spot!

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely spot, right on the water. Falling asleep and waking up to the waves was delightful! We were able to rent a Kayak and paddle board which we used frequently. The property was great and Bill was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot away from the more touristy areas.

Cute cabin on Green Bay with amazing views.

The location is amazing. Right on the water. We brought kayaks and enjoyed paddling right from the cabin. It is a stony beach with somewhat steep access. The cabin is old fashioned and cute. Great views from the deck. No dishwasher or laundry.
