Clean cabin, beautiful view of the lake, rustic cabin feel with the log portion of the home where the beautiful fireplace is, yet modern amenities throughout the house. Wife and i loved sitting by the fireplace with a wine in the evenings. Close enough to get to everywhere in door county in short order. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Fantastic Location

This was a great location right on Lake Michigan. We spent most evenings sitting at the shore watching and listening to the waves. It has a loft, one bedroom and one bath so it was the right size for me and my wife. The owner was easy to contact and was great tow work with, I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

Relaxing in the shade!

We had a delightful stay at the Old Fashioned Suite! The check-in and check-out was simple and the cabin was very clean and well appointed to meet all of our needs. The beds were soft and comfortable and all the windows had good shades to allow for sleeping in late :)We loved sitting out on the Adirondack chairs at the water’s edge and watching the waves roll in. Would love to stay again some day!

Perfect relaxing stay at the Old Fashioned Suite. Views were amazing. Sunrise, coffee. waves, gulls and pelicans on the water - just in awe. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time away. We stayed at the Old Fashioned Suite Cottage a year ago and liked it so much that we returned this year. Great property with lots of privacy. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee with the spectacular view of the sunrise over the lake.

Great view

It had a great view, awesome big yard, nice deck. A bit peeved by the nextdoor dogs barking and then running onto the property. Place was clean and very nicely decorated. Beds were ok, not a lot of support. It was a nice place.

This was our third time staying at the Old Fashioned Suite. We’re still driving home and already booked next year! It is so quiet and we love just sitting by the lake. It’s a great location and easy to access lots of activities.

Anniversary trip to Door County

We truly enjoyed this cottage with a view. It was the perfect space for our Door County adventures. We enjoyed sipping wine by the lake in the Adirondack chairs and listening to Lake Michigan. The view from the cottage is amazing. We loved the character of the space. Definitely recommend!
