"This house was exactly what we wanted: a place where we could spend time with our son, daughter-in-law, and two young granddaughters. We could enjoy ourselves simply by staying "at home" (in the rental) or by going out to enjoy all the beautiful sights of this area. The location was quiet and private, yet easily accessible. "We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Chestnut House! The pictures online were beautiful, but seeing it in person was even better. The picturesque landscape and the calming sounds of the Piney River truly made it feel like a slice of heaven.The host went above and beyond, providing unexpected extras like donuts, eggs, and popsicles. My 1-year-old and 5-year-old grandchildren had an absolute blast. We will definitely be returning!"

"Beautiful, clean, comfortable, spectacular views. The property was exactly as advertised and pictures were accurate. Kitchen had everything you need if you decide to cook-in. The main level being an open floor plan with a balcony was perfect for us all to enjoy each other’s company while reminiscing about my Father’s amazing life.
