Restoration Sands

Way overpriced for a tired/worn home. All plastic and paper plates, and glasses. I don’t expect fine china, but a wine glass is nice. You can tell the house has been constantly rented. The parking was sketchy to get in and out of the driveway on an extremely busy road. Very dangerous for runners and bikers. It says it sleeps 20 but you can’t even pull out both trundles in the bunk room at the same time. It sleeps six adults comfortably. Most don’t want to sleep in the living room or a musty basement. The beach was beautiful but crossing the road to the river beach was dangerous with young children. The house had many amenities We also enjoyed going to the Nearby Marriott resort To swim

I can’t say enough good things about this property and the property management company. My family has been renting homes in Florida for the past 15 years for our vacations, never have we had such an amazing stay. Normally, when we get in, we immediately have to go shopping to get the essentials like paper plates, paper towels, dish soap, etc… this time the only thing we had to worry about was the food that we needed. We had a slight issue with the grill.. I messaged Al, not even a whole 10 minutes later, somebody was there to fix the issue. I asked for a local company to rent some tables and chairs to do dinner on the beach, when we woke up the next morning, Al had already delivered tables, chairs, and tablecloths at no extra charge. They really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every moment of our vacation. Thank you Al!!!

Absolutely Amazing Place

This house literally had everything you needed from cribs to high chairs to dog bowls and beds to water equipment including fishing to even seasoning to cook with. Literally a perfect house for a huge family. The hot tub was excellent. The pool was heated and great. Plenty of life jackets, beach chairs, goggles, towels. This place is the perfect stay. We will return again. Very accommodating and it was just one of the best equipped houses I’ve stayed at on VRBO. Thank you so much for being the perfect hosts.

The best beach house!

We had a fantastic vacation at Restoration Sands! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 16 very well. The kids had a blast between the ocean, hot tub, fishing, sauna, pool and volleyball. There was never a dull moment and everything you could need was right there. Al was incredible with lots of communication and information so we were able to maximize every second of our trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Beyond amazing

This place was incredible. I read the reviews, did my research. And wow, it was even better than depicted! Amazing location. Wonderful house. Access to both beaches was perfect because one day it was really windy. The house has so much charm. Perfect for our kids who loved the bunk room. Enough space for everyone. Communication with the host was also top notch. Totally impressed and a house to remember, not some generic subdivision. Hope to be back!

The Best Anniversary Trip!

We had 10 adults and one baby at Restoration Sands for 5 nights! Our host was the best, response was in less than 15 min. He left us lots of special extras like a gift certificate to a restaurant, toiletries, and all the towels we would need! The rooms were comfortable, the space fit us well. The beach was great but there are large rocks in the water right outside the house. Some of us did swim, just a short walk down the beach. We loved having Indian River Lagoon access right across the road as well and took advantage of the lily pad, the water trike, paddle board, etc. we thought maybe a couple of changes to the kitchen would make it perfect, but overall Recommend this place highly!

We greatly enjoyed all of the amenities of your wonderful home. Our family had toasts on the deck, relaxed on the front porch, used the paddle boards and water trike, hot tub, and our grand finale beachside fire. Situated perfectly on both the ocean and bay for maximum enjoyment.

Framily stay with Teens to Seniors!

Lifelong Floridian and yet this was our first visit to the Stuart/Hutchinson Island, this home was an exceptional stay for a group of 15 including 70 yr old grandparents, adults, teens and young adults. We celebrated NYE and were afraid our YA and teens would be bored, well, they never left the property, stayed on the beach all night, hung out by the fire pit, hot tub, the river dock fishing, paddle boarded, kayaked, biked, the house is fully loaded, has all the toys you could imagine, all you do is bring your suitcase and groceries. Being ON the beach was amazing watching the sunrise, dolphins, while also the river with sunsets, more dolphins. Shells for miles! We haven't stopped talking about our stay and are already planning our next visit. The property and managers do not disappoint.

Outstanding Attention to Details

So very pleased with this property. Every supply that could be anticipated was available to us. For those flying in, that's so important to be able to go from airport to VRBO rental and not have to worry about supplies. From kitchen items to toiletries, this rental was superb in this area. Beds were comfortable. There were so many TVs in the house and only one person in our group chose to turn hers on - the sounds and views of the ocean were entertainment enough for the rest of us. The main area of the house was perfect for our group of 8 and our golden retriever. We played endless games while listening to the waves in the evening. The sunrise walks on the beach were fabulous. My only caution would be for those with mobility issues, getting onto the beach is somewhat difficult as there are sand dunes that need to be navigated before getting onto the beach area that has more walkable sand. We were a group of 70-ish, some with mobility issues so some could not make the trek to the beach but the large lanai overlooking the beach was panoramic and so very lovely. These owners seem to have thought of everything! I will definitely consider a return visit. I already miss Restoration Sands, though I think I'd rename it to Heavenly Sands.

Fantastic and unique vacation rental

This is an absolutely fantastic property and due to its unique location you can experience both waterfront sunrises and sunsets. Can't say enough good things about the host and specifically Al, who made this an amazing stay. The house came with everything you could possibly need to make an incredible family vacation. Can't wait to go back!

Great Vacation with Family

House is wonderful, everything you need is included. Love the sauna and steam room. Everything was clean and full stocked. Not thrilled with the rocks in the ocean. Made it difficult if not impossible to swim. Having access to the Marriott worked out perfectly. Was able to take advantage of the beach by the Marriott and have access to the Tiki bar while we were there. All 15 of us had a wonderful vacation!

Great time

Our family stayed in August, we had a great time. When they say pack light, they mean it, as they went above and beyond with amenities and welcoming gifts. The beach side was nice, with a reef in front, some days the water was a little rough. We experienced cool sightings of turtles laying eggs at nighttime. We had an abundance of kayaks on both the ocean and riverside. . For sure we recommend staying here

If you want a relaxing Florida Beach Vacation at an amazing property, this is your place. The management team (headed by Al) could not be more professional, prompt and courteous! Communication was above and beyond at every point and there is NO way the home could be better stocked and equipped then it is! It's truly an AMAZING property and our family had the best time EVER! Beach house family trip

We went on a beach house family trip to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. This house surpassed our expectations. We really enjoyed ourselves. The house and location were super chill, the host was very courteous and showed great care. We loved it and would definitely come back and book again.
