"I believe this was the cleanest place I have ever stayed at before. Wooden floors throughout you can walk barefoot and not even feel dust under your feet. The house had so much character, it was very comfortable to stay in. The only thing I didnt realize when booking the place was the location. "This house was soooo comfortable. Six retired siblings away for some shopping, dining, and fun; and that we did! One thing to mention is that the bench at the dining room table is not a great fit for women in their 60's and 70's. We switched out the bench for the 2 chairs by the fireplace so everyone could have their own seat. That worked great for us."

"We decided to book this as our children had a basketball tournament at Spookynook. We had a total of 15 people staying Friday -Sunday and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. Plenty of room and the amenities were top-notch. The boys appreciated being able to use the hot tub after a day of playing several games. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a modernized wing of the house. It had a fascinating old stove/oven and some beam construction upstairs. We were visiting friends in the area and needed a place to stay.
