"We stayed in a shepherds hut it was lovely, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was lovely and enjoyed sitting by the fire pit after dinner. Food in the restaurant was delicious and huge portions. "

"Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. "

"Tranquil location, very well equipped. We had a very pleasant three nights. Beautiful grounds and next to West Stow Hall. Nice, private seating area outside. Very close to Anglo-Saxon Village (though when we went in early May the riverside footpath was closed for safety/repairs - so just a five minute drive instead). No local shops or pubs in walking distance - stock up before you go - but Bury is a 10-15 drive."

"I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return."

"We had a very pleasant time staying at Geoffs rest and we would highly recommend it to friends and family, it was a beautiful location with views to see and explore, there is plenty of bits to do within a 30 minute drive which we loved as it wasn’t right on the door step but close enough in the car, we would definitely stay again if we were down that way and for longer than a weekend next time.
