We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group of 7 adults. It was just as advertised with a well stocked and large kitchen, large and comfortable family room, nice bedrooms, well maintained hot tub, beautiful views and easy access to Stowe resort. Betsy was an exceptional host, providing everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this house and Betsy as a host.

This is a large house, full of light, just 5 minutes from the Trapp Family Lodge and 10 minutes or so from downtown Stowe. The details are in the listing, but it's got lots of space for sleeping and gathering, kitchen is generally well equipped. Nice front porch. It's a excellent choice for a large group.

A beautiful property stocked with everything you could need. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Plenty do to regardless of weather. We enjoyed the fireplace, jacuzzi and the space for dinner and game nights. The views are spectacular and the property is quiet and private. It is close to everything Stowe has to offer from mountains, hiking, food, skiing, and breweries. I highly recommend this property for large families or group gatherings. Plenty of space and the way the rooms are situated, they are private as well. We will be back!

Early summer vacation

Our family has stayed at this farmhouse in all seasons, and enjoy it every time. We spent a week in early June with cool weather and easy access to biking, hiking, walking on the rec path. We cook family meals in the well equipped kitchen. There are comfortable bedrooms for our family of 5 plus and grandparents with convenient main level bedrooms for older family members who have more trouble with stairs. We all enjoy the open living space for watching movies, reading, and playing games, and we especially love the warm weather to sit outside on the porch rockers with view of the mountains. We will come again for sure!

Perfect for families

My family stayed during president’s week and had a great time. The house is huge and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make quick breakfast. The location was perfectly situated between the mountain and town so you were close to everything.

Perfect home for a mountain getaway

The home was incredibly clean and well-adorned. The beds were comfy, the showers had great water pressure, the kitchen was well-stocked with anything needed to cook, and the location was perfect!! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family getaway

We had the best time this week at Betsy’s home, so close to Stowe and the shuttle and a wonderfulPath across from a little river we did walks on!! What we all loved was the hot tub and we cooked a lot andi loved that everything we needed was in the home for making meals. Daily fires and close to everything. My only wish was the beds felt small and really wish at the master bedroom had a king size bed, but I do understand the rooms are smaller and that could be difficult to accomplish. Bestsy was great and always available! WonderfulHost. Will Plan to head back with my family.

Gorgeous home, very comfortable for our family.

We were in Stowe for our daughter’s wedding at Trapp Family Lodge. The house was conveniently located and allowed us to have some quiet family time amidst all the excitement of the wedding events.
