We had an amazing trip to Stowe! The home was perfect! Fully stocked kitchen to prepare our Thanksgiving feast. All accommodations were great, beds were comfortable. Highly recommend! Can’t wait for our next visit! Thanks again!

The home was comfortable and in great shape. Very clean and nice kitchen. The mattresses are firm but we were ok with that. One of the tables in the kitchen was a leaning but we just didn’t use it. The game selections were nice and there was plenty of firewood for use. We would definitely recommend this home.

The house was great. Sufficient parking, Quiet area. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, spices and cleaning supplies. Bathrooms also well stocked with toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. Plenty of towels and bedding. Sheets were nice. Easy assessable instructions for hot tub, sauna, etc. Host, Mark, was very responsive to questions. Location was convenient to Stowe festivities.

Great stay for a family with pets! Close to plenty of entertainment in Stowe, and plenty of space both inside and in the yard. Some of the neighbors were a bit noisy, but that was really only a problem when walking the dogs; we couldn’t hear any of their music indoors.

4th of July in Stowe

We had an amazing stay at Mark’s house! Plenty of space for two families for the weekend which included 5 adults and 4 kids. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location is prime - easy drive to restaurants/shops or to the mountain. The house is in a quiet neighborhood which was a bonus. We would definitely come back!

Great location

This is a great location close to the mountain that made it a quick 10-15 minute drive in the morning on a busy ski weekend. Skipped right over the traffic we typically hit when we stay just a mile or two closer to town. The house is well stocked with plenty of linens and some of the things that other rentals don't have such as spices in the kitchen, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent. The bedding was even newer than what is shown in the pictures, and Mark was very responsive before and during the stay to any questions we had. Previous reviews mentioned chipmunks, which I can happily say has been completely resolved. Previous reviews also mentioned other things that were broken or non-functional and this was not our experience - those were all resolved as well. It's not a brand new house and sure could use some upgrades, but for the size, location, and price it was great.

Great Location needs some attention

After three stays in February 2023,2024 and 2025, it's time for us to wave good-bye!! The location is amazing, but the interior of the home is not aging gracefully, displaying its decline. We appreciate the fact the house functions as a rental, but the renter should expect that the house is functional upon arrival. A bathroom towel rack in the 2nd floor bathroom was on the floor rather than on the wall. A shade in the master bedroom was pulled down to the max, not permitting the shade to properly re-coil. No apparent heat in the 2nd floor bathroom, average temp 55 degrees. (apparent during this visit). A lack of paper products, (toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues).I would also recommend pump hand-soap in the bathrooms, the small bars of hand soap are ineffective and messy. Be sure to have a hotspot on your phone as Wi-Fi is non-existent! We also encountered chipmunks in and on the premises. (this was addressed by the homeowner, promptly) but it was very unsettling. Our dogs are very protective and were extremely persistent assessing the chipmunk's locations Eventually three chipmunks were eliminated during the last two days of our stay. A little too close to nature!!!

Mountain Getaway

Everything about the place was excellent and matched the listing. Well stocked kitchen pots, pans, and utensils was a plus. Only minor inconvenience was figuring out the Sauna. We needed to put down towels and cover cracks letting in cold air so it would properly heat up. Once we figured it out, it was great. I would stay here again.
