Best weekend getaway

We found a gem that we can't wait to come back to. Our family loved everything the house had to offer. We loved the coffee bar set up and enjoyed hanging out at night in the tv/ game room and then ending the night or even starting the morning in the hot tub. The house was spotless and very comfortable. Michelle was a great host and answered any questions we had both prior to and during our stay. You couldn't ask for a better location. Close enough to everything but far enough where you really felt relaxed as it was extremely quiet. We hadn't even left yet and we were talking about our next stay. 5 * all around

Perfect!

We had a great time in Stowe for a week. The main reason the trip was such a success, was this amazing home. Everything was as described in the listing and communication with the host was exceptional. Michelle at Stowe Country Cape, checked in and made sure all of our needs were being fulfilled. I highly recommend this home. The only regret, was we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you Michelle!

Family Ski Trip

This rental was perfect for our Stowe ski trip. The house is clean and beautifully furnished. The location is close to downtown and the ski resort. Our family loved the hot tub on the cold evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

MLK Weekend Ski Trip

Had a wonderful long weekend enjoying the lovely, well appointed home. Michelle has gone above and beyond in thoughtfully stocking the house to make your stay convenient and enjoyable. Everything is new, clean and very high quality. We enjoyed the hot tub after long day skiing. We had a small snow accumulation while there and the driveway was quickly treated with cinders to make it safer for out cars. Thanks again and we are already planning our return!

Cozy and inviting retreat

Our stay at the Mountain Getaway was wonderful. Private, quiet location with a short drive to the main streets in Stowe. The property was clean and well maintained. All amenities provided, including a washer and dryer. Driveway plowed first thing in the morning, which was greatly appreciated so we could make it to the ski resort early.Very Cozy and inviting property!

Lovely house in Stowe

The house was extremely clean and well decorated. It had everything we needed for a family vacation with young children in Stowe. We used rentals from Stowe Baby rentals that were dropped off at the home which was great. The location was close to town but nice and quiet. Loved it!

Excellent stay at the Cape!

The cape is a gorgeous newly built home that is complete with everything you'll need for a great stay! Beautifully decorated, the basement is a lot of fun for the kids and the hot tub was excellent. Everything is brand new condition and our family couldn't have been more pleased with the stay. Highly recommended for any group traveling to Stowe!

Beautiful Stowe Getaway

We loved staying at this cottage in Stowe. It was about 10-15 minute drive to downtown, and 25 minutes to the slopes. It was clean, and very nice. Our family stayed comfortably.

Lovely cabin for families!

This property was so well stocked - Michelle had everything we could need during our fall trip to Stowe. The location was great as it was close to everything in the Stowe area but tucked away from the traffic and busy parking. Our teens loved the basement games and the hot tub!

Super cute place - right near town. Comfortable and decorated nicely. Two bathrooms but one is downstairs so not as easily usable. Other than that the place was beautiful.

Super summer in Stowe

House was better than advertised; incredibly clean and fully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable home away from home. Tons of space for the 6 of us, and between the hot tub, fire pit and the basement with games and TV, none of us were ever bored. Private yard and proximity to town provided a perfect locale. Michelle was a great communicator and made everything easy. Already making plans to return in the fall!

Epic getaway!

We had an amazing time in Stowe and that was largely due to the excellent house we stayed at. There was clearly so much thought put into laying out this house for the comfort and ease of use of those who rent it. My wife and I highly recommend booking this listing. The location to the center of Stowe was phenomenal, the porch, the jacuzzi, the fire pit, and last but not least the finish basement we're all wonderful.

Great Stay

The house is beautifully renovated with all the amenities you could want. Hot tub, games in the basement, etc. (extremely clean, too). Close enough to restaurants, etc but far enough away to feel secluded. Michelle was easy to get a hold of when we asked if we could get into the house a little bit earlier because we arrived earlier than we anticipated. Would highly, highly recommend & we definitely will be back!

Better than home!

Michelle was a wonderful host! Her home is beautifully decorated and equipped with EVERYTHING one would need for an enjoyable vacation. All appliances are new, kitchen is clean and well stocked, bedrooms have comfortable beds and bedding, bathrooms have soft towels and radiant heat, game room is fun and hot tub is awesome after skiing. What a great place!!

Everything we wanted from a vacation!

Our vacation was amazing! This rental has it all, it’s close to town, skiing and if you don’t want to do anything you can just relax. I am a very licking person when it comes to sheets and cleanliness. The sheets were super soft and the house was very clean. We went snowboarding, snowmobiling and horse back riding. The kids had snowball fights, built a snowman and enjoyed the night it snowed heavy. We even went in the Ho tub, we all had an amazing time!

Exceeded Expectations

If it were possible to give this location and Michelle more than 5 stars I would. Michelle was very easy going and very quick to reply with any questions I had. During our stay we had a fairly significant snow fall overnight and Michelle made sure the driveway was plowed the next morning. The house is close to Stowe's lower village (about a10 minute car ride) and close to the Mountain Road. There is plenty of dining and breweries. Outdoor activities are all around. We cross country skied at the Trapp Family Lodge-which I would highly recommend. The house was in perfect condition, it was very clean and ready for our arrival. The kitchen is very well appointed, with every tool a chef would need. It even had a generous spice rack-which I've never seen in a rental before. The house itself was beautiful with a fireplace in the living room. The basement family room was large, with a large very comfortable couch, air hockey table and arcade machine. We had an epic air hockey tournament. There is plenty to do if you want to. The out door hot tub was fantastic. Sitting in it with the snow falling was super relaxing. I can't stress enough how Michelle made the stay more enjoyable. I've stayed in other rentals, where the owner is impossible to get a hold of and is only seemingly wanting to take your money. Michelle is not like that at all. She really, truly wants to make your stay as memorable and as comfortable as possible. She even emailed me after our first night to make sure everything was to our liking. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.
