This place exceeded our expectations! We've stayed in tons of VRBO rentals before but this one tops them all! No detail has gone unnoticed in this property- it's immaculate, perfectly furnished, the beds are so comfortable and all of the labeled details throughout the house made everything so easy and seamless for us. And our teenage daughters loved the air hockey table and arcade games in the basement :) I can't say enough great things about this place. I'd highly recommend it and we hope to visit again in the future!

Everything about our stay was to our expectations - and exceeded the expectations of our 2 kids! The neighborhood is a bit winding to get into and I urge caution if its actively snowing, but otherwise the Cozy Cottage is a great escape and easy to get to all that Stowe and the surrounding area has to offer!

Fabulous stay and memorable experiences on this trip! Michelle is a great host! The house was super clean, cozy, comfortable and layout was perfect for our family of 4. Loved the modern and well-stocked items in every room and sleds in the shed. Especially appreciate the large smart tvs in bedrooms and gathering spaces. The delicious coffee and teas provided were such a nice addition. We enjoyed many meals there and played several of the games. This property is so convenient to Stowe Village and the companies we used for renting snow tubes, snowmobiling and ice fishing. It was so nice to come "home" to this property after adventuring each day.

We had a wonderful girls trip! The space was large enough for 4 girls to share easily and the bed was very comfortable! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and having a glass of wine on the deck. We even saw a bear! He was very cute and wanted nothing to do with us. The location is a bit of the main road but easy enough to get an Uber to town and we liked being able to walk around the quiet neighborhood. Overall an amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful place! Very clean, well stocked kitchen, and we had so much fun hanging out on the deck. We also thought the hosts had gone above and beyond in making this a great place to stay-- all the appliances are new, there's a great binder with information about the area, and we loved the coffee and tea selection. This property is perfect for a few days in Stowe. Michelle was great to communicate with promptly when we had a few questions about location of supplies. It was well stocked with cookware, dishes, and clean. Besides the location to proximity to Stowe we also enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and game room in the basement. Also the beds and bedding were very comfortable. Highly recommend and would rent again! My only constructive feedback is the outdoor furniture was a little worn but I think that is a factor of being outside in the elements.

Perfect Vermont Cabin!

The Stowe Country Cape was a perfect location for exploring Vermont for the week! The kitchen had all of the amenities needed to prepare meals, and the clean, hot showers were wonderful after a day of hiking. We loved relaxing on the big porch, soaking in the beautiful views of the Green Mountains. The location truly was ideal, offering a quiet, secluded neighborhood feel while still being just a convenient 10-15 minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and cute shops.

Best weekend getaway

We found a gem that we can't wait to come back to. Our family loved everything the house had to offer. We loved the coffee bar set up and enjoyed hanging out at night in the tv/ game room and then ending the night or even starting the morning in the hot tub. The house was spotless and very comfortable. Michelle was a great host and answered any questions we had both prior to and during our stay. You couldn't ask for a better location. Close enough to everything but far enough where you really felt relaxed as it was extremely quiet. We hadn't even left yet and we were talking about our next stay. 5 * all around

Perfect!

We had a great time in Stowe for a week. The main reason the trip was such a success, was this amazing home. Everything was as described in the listing and communication with the host was exceptional. Michelle at Stowe Country Cape, checked in and made sure all of our needs were being fulfilled. Family Ski Trip

This rental was perfect for our Stowe ski trip. The house is clean and beautifully furnished. The location is close to downtown and the ski resort. Our family loved the hot tub on the cold evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

MLK Weekend Ski Trip

Had a wonderful long weekend enjoying the lovely, well appointed home. Michelle has gone above and beyond in thoughtfully stocking the house to make your stay convenient and enjoyable. Everything is new, clean and very high quality. We enjoyed the hot tub after long day skiing. We had a small snow accumulation while there and the driveway was quickly treated with cinders to make it safer for out cars. Thanks again and we are already planning our return!

Cozy and inviting retreat

Our stay at the Mountain Getaway was wonderful. Private, quiet location with a short drive to the main streets in Stowe. The property was clean and well maintained. All amenities provided, including a washer and dryer. Driveway plowed first thing in the morning, which was greatly appreciated so we could make it to the ski resort early.Very Cozy and inviting property!
