Items of ours were hidden so the staff could keep them once we left (we found my husband's had, lost my $80 sandals which were not in my suitcase at the next stop. "The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. The staff were friendly and always greeted us. They were helpful when we called for assistance with anything we needed to clarify...

"Difficult to find, but once you do find it you'll be pleasantly surprised. Staff are nice and helpful, there's a nice garden-type atmosphere in the common area, and the room was clean and spotless. Breakfast was quite delicious, with a general mix of an omlette, crepes, fruit and/or vegetables; it does change if you stay more than a day. A nice place to stay if you can work remote. No TVs in the rooms for those who care."

"Poor management and the hotel has no freedom by desk but is operated out of a restaurant that is around the corner. The room is basic a bed and bath. The manager is not around but part of the time but only at the restaurant. No sign at restaurant that there is a hotel and we were the only guests. Would not return. "
