Great Stay

Another great stay and year at Stockholm. Always the perfect location for a vacation that’s equal parts busy and relaxing. Love the family friendly and pet friendly location. We will be back!

Quiet and quaint on the lake!

We enjoyed our stay in Stockholm at the cottage! It was so peaceful and cozy with amazing views of Lake Pepin. It had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway. We look forward to next time!

I got to enjoy this delightful cabin with my family. We fit comfortably in the cabin and had a beautiful area outside for the kids to play. I loved watching the birds in the morning. It was a relaxing stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at the A Frame cabin! The cabin was clean and had lovely modern updates which made for an easy stay. We love the easy access to the private lakefront beach, and that this cabin is just under an hour and a half from the Twin Cities, so it was an easy get away.Check in & out was easy, the owner was so nice and hospitable, shared lots of information about the area.We enjoyed Stockholm, though during the week hours of shops and restaurants is limited. We visited Peppin for breakfast, which was also cute and quiet during the week!Thanks for a relaxing time!

Great getaway

Great getaway from Minneapolis. Perfect directions from owner for an out of the way location. Walks on the beach were so relaxing as well as the sunsets and fall leaf colors. We had a wonderful time.

A hidden Gem

This place is sweet! Love it! Love it! Love it! A great time with my sister and brother. Wish we stayed longer. We spent 95% of our time on the beautiful deck looking at the Beautiful Lake Pepin.

Idyllic cabin

This A-frame had modern updates with fun retro touches. We were immediately comfortable. The view to the lake is impeccable, even from indoors. Also loved seeing the nesting bald eagles so close, the adorable town of Stockholm, and the drive down the Great River Road.

Quiet and relaxing

Weekday getaway for a few days. Well equipped unit, everything you need is here. The lake is beautiful from the deck! A word of note, all furniture sits very low, so very hard to get up if you have any bad joints.

Clean and cute cabin

The cabin was clean and cute, beds comfy, fully stocked with all you need. Location directly on the water was great. We watched the sailboats and eagles gliding by and also enjoyed the sunset view. The only bummer was the stench of the running water from the taps and shower. Not being able to shower without stinking up the whole cabin will keep me from returning. Hope they can get that addressed because it’s really an otherwise great cabin.

Nice cozy getaway with beautiful sunsets

We loved our stay… cozy cabin with everything we needed. We are A Frame enthusiasts! We brought our own water for cooking and coffee just as a preference for purified water. We hope to come back during the fall when all the colored leaves will be at their peak. Loved the quaint village of Stockholm.

Beautiful fall getaway!

We loved our stay at this cabin in Stockholm! Fall is a beautiful time to enjoy this area! The cabin was clean and cozy with lovely views of the lake. There is minimal closet or storage space and no mirrors for us ladies but that didn’t distract much from our weekend! We adapted!

Just, wow!

The cottage is in a fantastic location, quiet and serene, right on the beachs of Lake Pepin. It is a beach house where you can relax and enjoy yourself. The pictures do not give justice to how amazing the views are inside and out. The kitchen had everything and more to cook meals, the entire place was well outfitted. We also took the time to explore the surrounding communities, great food, and treasure hunting all around. I cannot think of one negative thing about the stay overall.

Cozy cabin stay

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this well appointed A-Frame. Surroundings are picturesque and wonderfully quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at home - while music was playing on the speakers and the fireplace going… We loved playing the board games available and had a lovely bonfire on the beach. We all slept really well! To update some prior reviews - there is a bathroom mirror and we found the water to be fine for drinking.

July 2019 stay

Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the lakeside deck and watching the birds in the area. The weather was perfect and we saw very few people. We Did see 2 dogs on different days. They were free roaming but friendly. We Floated on rafts one of the days when it was calm. The space was more than adequate for our group of 3 people. I would Definitely go back.
