I have never given a terrible review before but this host & house have earned it. There is nothing "charming" about this "charming rambler...with... A/C, and WiFi".Half of the lights and the WiFi didn't work.The owner said he would leave the outside lights on for us as we had planned to arrive after dark. The light outside the front door was not on. We used flashlight to get inside but were immediately concerned as there is a realtor's "For Sale" in the front yard and the front door was busted (see photos). We could see in the garage door window that there was a vehicle inside the garage. We tried the doorbell (which doesn't work) to make sure we weren't walking into an already occupied home. We stumbled through the entryway (carpet was stained-needs a floormat) & couldn't get the kitchen lights to turn on. Assumed the power must have gone out but when we opened the fridge, the fridge lights turned on and the freezer had a frozen pizza inside. We opened the foyer closet & were concerned as there were rifle cases hanging inside.Not your typically VRBO rental.We used flashlights to make our way down the hall to the master bedroom which had a ceiling fan on but no functional overhead light. The pull cord was missing & the remote which allegedly runs the fan and light didn't work to turn lights on or to turn fan off. Main bath had dead bugs in it and water stains on the ceiling & bedroom closet was full of men's clothes. The living room light worked & was full of dead bugs.
