This property meet everyone one of our expectations. The property manager/owner was wonderful. The centralized location complemented was complimented by the amenities. Loved every moment. Had great family moments together. Wish we never had to leave.

Linda was an exceptional host, kind, fun, generous, and so easy to communicate with. She even dropped off a loaf of her favorite bread just so we could try it, which was such a thoughtful touch.The house itself couldn’t be in a better location: just a 2-minute walk to the beach, across the street from the best bakery/restaurant/snack bar in town, and a 1-minute walk to a playground and local food. Exceptionally decorated, it has everything you could possibly need for a perfect beach stay.The home is stocked with toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, board games, wetsuits for kids, and more, all available for guests to use. The outdoor hot/cold shower was a special treat after days at the beach.We truly couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more. It’s the perfect beach house in every way!

Such a special spot. Linda’s sweet cottage has everything you could want and is so tastefully decorated. Location is amazing. Linda is an amazing host. Cannot wait to come back!

What a lovely little cottage!!! It was so neat clean, bright and HAPPY!! Linda, was very knowledgeable about all the things available to explore. It is all so RICH in beauty. The cottage is right in the little town of Stinson. We literally walked across the street for dinner. It was especially nice to get coffee and pastries every morning at the Parkside Cafe. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.

Can't beat this cottage for proximity to beach and restaurants. Safe, gated and fenced property surrounded by fruit trees, flowering bushes. Quiet!. Walk to grocery market, All the supplies, towels, chairs, etc. you need for a day at the beach. 30 minute drive to Point Reyes National Seashore.

Great cottage and an ideal location. The price is very reasonable for the location and quality of the unit. This house is very well kept and equipped by owner. Park the car for your stay and walk everywhere. Bonus shed full of beach gear. Everything you need available.

We have been visiting Stinson for 20 years and while its popularity has grown over time it feels like home even though its no longer our secret little beach town. This cottage is so perfectly located to enjoy all the best things in Stinson. Most importantly it’s super close to the beach! The park is literally next door and the parkside snack bar and restaurant across the street. The house has way more amenities than your usual vrbo. Kitchen is perfectly stocked for making meals and there is a nice barbecue and back deck. Our favorite was the beach shack with so many things for the day at the beach. We had a great time as a family, boogie boarding and loving the sun! Once the city calmed down for the night we could hear the waves from the master bedroom window. The host was very friendly and clear on expectations. We will be glad to visit again as soon as possible.

Unique, precious property with instant access to wonderful Stinson Beach and the local markets. Linda proved to be a warm, engaging, and knowledgeable host. She promptly notified us of a belonging my partner left behind, and will be mailing it to us. We look forward to returning before the end of summer.

Stinson Beach to meet up with family

This cute little cottage is right in the middle of town and near everything you may need- coffee and pastries directly across the street, walking distance from the beach, post office, shops, and other houses people are staying in (we were meeting up with family). It’s quiet and set back, with a gate to close so you have your own little spot away from everything as well. Two rooms with queen beds, lots of windows to open, fruit trees all around and a deck to sit on in the morning when you have coffee. Linda was so responsive and helpful, checking in to make sure the stay went well. We loved our visit to Stinson Beach.

The Best stay

This property was truly lovely… short walk to the beach … across the street from your morning latte & pastry… The host was so lovely & made sure we had all we needed…. Fantastic location steps away from Stinson Beach

Beautiful hidden gem located just steps away from Stinson Beach, great restaurant literally across the the street. Parking is narrow and best suited for cars & smaller SUV. Beautiful cozy coastal spot!

The location can't be beat, the house is very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. Parking, however, is an issue. It was a bit of an ordeal backing out of the narrow driveway, maneuvering around the plants and through the narrow gate. We have a Subaru outback; it may not be an issue for someone with a smaller car. Also be aware that there are quite a number of house rules. With those caveats, I'd recommend.

Outstanding host and location

Terrific communication with the host prior to arrival and during our stay. Extremely helpful with local and regional recommendations. Location in Stinson Beach is hard to beat just steps from local restaurants, shops, beach, and hiking.

Charming Beach Cottage

My family of four had a wonderful stay in Stinson Beach at this delightful cottage. Property is as advertised. I was particularly impressed with how well and thoughtfully stocked the house was. Beds were comfortable and we had no issues during our stay. The property owner was super communicative and helpful. We loved the convenience of having the Parkside dining options so close by and the gorgeous beach just a super short stroll from the property gate. Would definitely stay here again!

Beach cottage

We had a great time in Linda's home. It was clean, check in process was easy, location is amazing and Linda is easy to communicate with and always happy and gave us great tips on where to eat and what activities were available to us in the area. Great spot for families

This was our second stay at Horseneck Cottage. My husband and I took our 2 kids, ages 11 and 9, on their first trip to California. Horseneck Cottage is a perfect spot, both within Stinson Beach and to explore around Marin County and SF. We took lots of day trips and it was always great to come back to the cozy cottage. Linda is an engaged host and offered great suggestions for activities in all types of weather. We will definitely be coming back!
