This place is truly special. The photos are great, but they still don’t capture how stunning it is in person.From the moment we arrived, the house felt like a real home, not a generic vacation rental. It’s warm, thoughtfully cared for, and clearly loved, which made the whole stay feel more relaxing and personal. The setting is exactly what you hope for on California’s North Coast: beautiful, quiet, and secluded, with a sense of privacy that’s hard to find. It’s tucked away from neighboring houses, so you can actually hear the silence and settle in.Brian was the cherry on top. He was responsive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. Everything was easy from start to finish.We left already talking about when we can come back. If you’re considering booking it, do it.

This was our third stay at this place of splendor. We had a fabulous relaxing retreat. Brian’s home is decorated impeccably and has all of the comforts of a home. The kitchen is well equipped. He maintains the home well. We saw three whales and some seals on this visit. We can’t wait to return to Indigo Tide next year.

Gorgeous house: special experience

We really couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our Sea Ranch visit. The house is situated on a breathtaking bluff right at the ocean. It's absolutely gorgeous, private, with beautiful views everywhere you look, and outfitted with everything you could possibly need (great serving pieces, a vast array of kitchen utensils, glassware, several coffee/espresso makers, even a whole selection of vases for the flowers I brought). We loved the beautiful little deck at the edge of the bluff, and the large and lovely deck right out the back door, where we barbecued, practiced our oyster shucking skills, and relaxed in the sunshine. The two bedroom suites were beautiful and private, very spacious (the downstairs suite is especially grand), comfortable and spotlessly clean. I wish we had been able to stay longer, but look forward to rebooking one of these days. A fabulous place to unwind – highly recommend it.

Great house, great location, loaded kitchen and great host!This place is very close to high cliffs and the mighty ocean! Fantastic for adults but small kids, not so much.Not sure why luxury jetted tub and shower in master suite is exposed by giant window? Anyone on the deck, enjoying the ocean view, can also enjoy you naked in the shower. A HUGE inconvenience when staying with friends. Couldn’t use it. Bummer. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Brian

Loved Indigo Tides!!!

We loved our stay at Indigo Tide. This home checks all the boxes: Utterly spectacular views of the ocean with comfortable sitting areas inside and outside to stare at the sea.The organized kitchen has everything you need. The furnishings and decor are all high end. Much love and thought was put into this home. The beds are comfortable! Brian was a warm and gracious host. He was easy to get a hold. We have been coming to The Sea Ranch for over 30 years and this is definitely one of the nicest places to rent at Sea Ranch. We plan to visit again.
