The lake house was absolutely perfect for our family stay ! We brought out two dogs who loved the outdoor space while we enjoyed the hot tub and the lake views! The house was beautifully decorated and fully equipped white EVERYTHING you could want ! Fluffy towels , soft bedding and even a welcome pack of wine and goodies We don't want to leave ! Fantastic Stay on Lake Michigan

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here in early November. The cottage is spacious and clean with tremendous views of Lake Michigan. Don’t miss the sunsets- they are spectacular! Fun sitting around the large gas fireplace too. Great working with the staff at Juniper Holiday and Home- the cookies and wine were a nice touch and much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, Well maintained

We used the hot tub and fire pit and enjoyed both. The house is very comfortable and bedroom configuration fit our family well. The home was clean and convenient to use, with a great kitchen.

Lake living

This property is managed by a great company. They were extremely friendly and responsive. The house is well equipped, comfortable and clean. The views are beautiful, especially from the deck by the water. It’s about a 20 minute drive into town but if that doesn’t bother you, this property is great!

Great Place on the lake

7 adults stayed for 3 nights. Wonderful place! I have already recommended it to friends in St. Joe who need an extra place for guests. Only thing is that there is no beach access and finding it was very tricky.

A Family Affair

We come from a large family and our siblings from 5 different Stares traveled to St Joseph for a funeral of a beloved family member. The summer Coastal Cottage was a warm, comfortable and pleasantly furnished venue that settled the nerves and soothed the soul. Indeed, the Swiss would describe the atmosphere and ambience as “gemutlich” (cheerful, warm, and cozy). The proprietors were extreme accommodating to our needs, and were warm and thoughtful hosts. I would highly recommend this venue for any.family gathering . The views of the lake and sunsets are stunning.

Perfect in every way

This was a business trip, but I can’t wait to come back for a personal trip. The house was simply amazing only beaten by the incredible sunset views- it was extremely peaceful. Every amenity you could want was available! My communication with the property manager over a few minor issues was prompt and very helpful. I can’t say enough about this little oasis. I wish I lived here!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We celebrated my brothers birthday here and it was the perfect lake house! It was a short 1.5 hour car ride from Chicago and was so relaxing hearing the sounds of the waves & the seeing views of the lake. The place was very clean and had more than enough towels / blankets/ etc. for our group of 10! We had a storm pass through that impacted our Wi-fi and the property managers handled it with care and communicated efficiently.

Picture Perfect!

A truly beautiful quality comfortable home well appointed and located in a fantastic setting deep into the woods on a private lane with an amazing lake view for perfect sunsets. We had 9 people with dogs for this week long family retreat and we loved every minute. The host was super easy to communicate with and we especially enjoyed the little touches like the fire pit, hot tub, gas grill, expansive front porch with comfortable tables and couches, and swings at the lake. 4 nice full beds in the loft with a full bathroom, 2 bedrooms each with queens on the main floor sharing a full bathroom and a bedroom with king in the basement with a full bath. Kitchen had nice appliances and was well stocked with utensils. Washer/dryer were upscale as well. Drive to best beaches just 15 mins. There is construction at the home next door. We are already planning to return next summer and can't wait!

Do not leave anything of value when you leave this place or take anything into it that you might not want to be stolen during your stay.. we still can not believe what happen to us here.

Loved every aspect of our stay!

Attention to the details in this home are exceptional. The views of Lake Michigan sunsets, location, furnishings, and little details like quality towels, quality bed linens, huge laundry room & local pancake mix & syrup made our stay next level. My college age kids agreed the location and yard, and fire pit were favorite parts of our visit. IT’s everything the photos highlight and more. Selfishly, I hesitated to share how great it all was as I don’t want it to be full next time we visit.

Stunning Lake Michigan Views

We enjoyed this beautiful home so much! Plenty of room to spread out and very cozy for together time. The house was very clean and well stocked. There’s no road noise, only a couple of neighbors and that left us to focus on the beauty of our surroundings. There were a few minor things at the beginning of our stay, but the management team handled it quickly and were so pleasant to work with! I would stay here again and again!

Great place!

Amazing property, everything went well, great location. I would suggest maybe a picture of the actual rocky shoreline, just so people know what to expect. Still great for swimming and paddle boarding if you have the legs to get in and out!

Great Getaway with the Fam

This was a winter getaway gift for my family, and it was better than expected. The listing is exactly as advertised. This is an excellent beach cottage and we had so much fun staying here. It was especially fun playing hide'n'seek in the dark with everyone. So many laughs! I'd also like to give props to the property manager for being super attentive to our inquiries. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to getaway for a good time.
