My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. Hal was very responsive and made the check in and out as smooth as possible. He was available for any questions we had and made sure we had the best trip possible. 15 of us and 1 dog stayed here very comfortably, we would definitely return :)

This house and the property in general have everything you need to have a great vacation. The owner has ensured that all the staples you may need are available and in significant quantities. The kitchen has everything you can think of to prepare and serve a fantastic meal for a large group. My family and I had an excellent stay over the 2025 Thanksgiving break. The weather cooperated, and we enjoyed a week's worth of great days and evenings on the property. The property owner is a fantastic host and quite responsive. We are grateful for the wonderful week we had on the bay at Love Point Idyll. Thank you, Hal!!!

The owner is very communicative. The kitchen had everything plus more available to us, including a smores basket! The beach access is perfect for our scientific labs we do in the water. It is all-around a great place for establishing and growing comradery.

A memorable vacation for 3 generations of my family. The house easily accommodated 16 of us and one dog. The house is extremely well equipped with amusements for the children, video tapes, all the cooking and baking accoutrements you will need, kayaks, bicycles, linens, towels and crab traps! The house has lots of spaces, screened in and open air porches to accommodate both introverts and extroverts. There are two lovely wineries just down the road with lovely outdoor spaces suitable for adults and kids. Hal, the property owner is very responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful home overlooking a pond and the Chester River. A nice sandy beach area with a protected area which is great for kayaking and paddleboarding, which are provided. Very peaceful and full of wildlife. Great watching the boating activity on the river as well.

We thouroughly enjoyed our week at Love Point. The house is very well appointed, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family vacation of 14 people. Even with a large group there are lots of places in the house to find quiet time alone if you desire. The beach front is a great place to have morning coffee, a swim, or go paddleboarding and kyaking. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at the house, and there is a second refrigerator and freezer if you need to keep food fresh for a large group. Our host Hal was always available and attentive. We would highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

Beautiful location for our family reunion!

We had a lovely week on Kent Island. My family came from Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Virginia. The house is so well stocked and the instructions were excellent. We enjoyed the beach, playing games, and relaxing. Thank you Hal!

Wedding celebration

Since the day I booked the house, Mr. Hall was so helpful; he provided all the details we talked on the phone. I explained for him that we will be celebrating my wedding with my family. He even let us visit the house before the wedding day. He was really nice and helpful; he had all the details for the house. He kept the communication till the minute we left the property. The house is amazing; the view, the spaces, the energy of the house is amazing; it's filled with love and happiness. We will definitely come back for our 1-year anniversary.

Family Time!

My husband, children and grandchildren spent a wonderful 5 days at Love Point Idyll. The house is large and beautiful with great views of the bay and wildlife. We took many walks around the property when the weather permitted and when we weren’t visiting nearby DC. The house was well stocked with necessities and Hal was extremely gracious and quick to answer any questions. We had so much fun and the family is eager to go back for another visit.

Beautiful Space

The house was beautiful and comfortable and had lots of incredible amenities. I stayed with a group of friends and their kids and it was so lovely being able to take them down to the water and make s'mores at the firepit at night. Highly recommend!

Absolute Paradise

Doesn’t get any better than Love Point Idlyll!

I have stayed at Love Point Idlyll three times and cannot wait to return! We have visited in the winter and have had a blast. It’s so beautiful. I can only imagine how great it must be in the warmer weather. We have not taken advantage of the kayaks, bikes and the private beach. The house itself is well stocked with all the essentials and lots of unexpected mew extras. It’s ideal for a larger group. Finally, Hal is a great host and very responsive. Highest rating possible zzz!

Great for group of families

We rented Hal's home for our annual "Friendsgiving" with several families. The kitchen had plenty of space and was well appointed with cooking gear to prepare a big meal. The kids loved running around outside, exploring the beach area and having s'mores around the fire pit. Hal is a great host - very responsive and helpful. Hope to come back next year!

Best House Ever!!

We’ve been going to Annapolis for a church meeting every year since 2014. In the last three years a group of us have stayed together. This was by far the biggest group of 19 and it was our best stay ever. Hal is super responsive and nice. The kitchen was well stocked, house was so clean, water was hot and beds were comfortable. Perfect view of the sunrise each morning and the beach itself was phenomenal!! Even had some little creature swimming in the pond…not sure what it was but it was supper playful and fun to watch. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the house and sit around a fire. Planning to travel up earlier next year Lord willing!
