"Prefect for a weekend away! The shack had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a hit for our 7 year old. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We were able to walk into town and also explored the old rail lines. West side deli was prefect to sit outside and eat lunch. Quick drive to Loyalsock for hiking. Make sure you pack warm, it gets chilly! Deck was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really a cool little spot especially if anyone in your family loves trains. "

"If you want a secluded place, then this place is for you. Not too far from things to do however far enough off the beaten path that you are secluded. The place is exactly how described. The bathroom is on the little side however that is the only thing you can even complain about. The host is amazing and will answer you right away with any questions you have."

"We stayed at Laceyville to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. We had a great time and the house handled all 10 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs without feeling too squishy. We did get snowed in on the first night and our host was quick to reply and remedy the situation and had people sent to help us. "We had a wonderful time at Spruce Haven! We used it as a basecamp for a family reunion with our cousins at Elk Lake. The kids and grandkids had a great time on the pond fishing, riding in the peddle boat and using the stand-up paddle boards. We all took advantage of the trails around the property, the firepit, the par-2 golf hole, the vast lawn and all the great "toys" that were provided. Our Elk Lake family loved it when we had them over for burgers and dogs cooked on the Blakstone grill. ...
