Let’s start with a list of all things we disliked about this property.
Now that we got that out of the way, let’s move on to the things that were great:
- Location. The property was quiet and out of the way, but easy to find, and within walking distance of Stevenson. The town has a market, a couple of nice places to eat, and some historical markers to take in, along with great windsurfing opportunities for those into the sport. The scenery at and leading to the property was beautiful, even in dreary fall weather.
- Cleanliness. The cabin and property were immaculately clean throughout.
- Layout. The cabin was cozy and well-furnished. It was clear the owners put effort into anticipating visitors’ needs. To that end, there were handy laminated instructions to help explain the Roku TV, the heater, etc.
Furnishings. The bed, couch, fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig machine, etc were all in great shape and in good working order.
We also had a nice welcome bucket waiting for us, with snacks and a coupon for a beer tasting in nearby Carson which was well worth the quick drive. We would absolutely stay here again, and we encourage anyone considering it to book now. Overall a great value and a relaxing stay.
