Comfortable Kenai River Cabin

  • Esta cómoda cabaña de 3 dormitorios y 1 baño se encuentra directamente a orillas del río Kenai en Sterling Alaska. La casa cuenta con 3 dormitorios independientes, cocina totalmente equipada, conexión Wi-Fi gratuita, lavadora y secadora. Use la cocina para preparar sus comidas o haga una barbacoa en el fuego de campamento a pocos metros del río. Hay una fogata en el patio delantero para disfrutar de una tarde relajante bajo el gran sol de Alaska. Disfrutará del acceso a 150 pies de pesca en la orilla del río Kenai con su grupo. ¡No hay pesca de combate! Un congelador profundo se encuentra en la cubierta de la casa principal para uso de los huéspedes. No fumar dentro de las instalaciones. Se admiten mascotas con aprobación. Beautiful property right on the Kenai River. Easy access to the adventures available in the Kenai Peninsula! Laundry availability helped a lot when getting ready to go home after a week of fishing!

Just what we needed

Awesome location on the river - isolated enough to feel alone with nature, yet close to everything you may need. We very much enjoyed our stay. My favorite was morning coffee to the sound of the flowing river.

Beautiful cabin and location

The cabin is beautiful and the view is stunning! It was amazing to be able to walk out to the back yard and be right on the kenai river to fish!

Heather was amazing and very accommodating! We checked in a day early, checked out a day early and she was so great. Not exactly my cup of tea but a great fishing cabin on the river.

My family and I loved the cabin by the Kenai River on the back end of our Alaskan adventure. We were so grateful for the washer and dryer. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy sitting by the river drinking coffee. The host was very receptive and understanding of our timeline.

Alaska Fishing Trip 2025

Everything was perfekt.The single thing witch could be improved is the possibility to sit outside on the beautyful terrasse. A real table and some real chairs would be great.

Wonderful house and location!

We loved our stay! The house had everything we needed and worked well for our family. The location - you can’t beat it! Right on the water, views out the window of eagles flying, each day we saw a Mamma moose and her baby. Easy to get to all our destinations in the Kenai area. Thank you!

Gorgeous Views, Quiet Location

The house on the River was wonderful, such a great quiet location right on the river. Perfect for our family to relax and unwind after a week of go go go traveling throughout Alaska. Close enough to a store for food and such, far enough away to be very quiet. Not many salmon running while we were there but looks like a good spot. Would 100% stay here again FYI from the pictures, the little point out into the river is the neighbors property and roped off, the shoreline for fishing at this house is right in front of the table and bench.

wonderful location

we were so relaxed with the peace and quit. just the sound of the river flowing behind the house. made us forget everything about our busy work life waiting for us once we return to the rat race of life WORK

Sterling House on Kenia River

We had a great stay at this rental located right on the kenia river. The cabin is literally only about 50ish steps away from the river with a level bank. We were able to catch some salmon, but we believe our stay was just a few days late for the big run. Not bless, we had a great stay with everything we needed. Thank you Heather!

Truly Magical

Incredibly beautiful and calming property. Very secluded. Our entire family loved it and Heather kept it well stocked with lot's of the nice extra things including a delicious welcome gift.It is much better than a cabin on a stream! One bathroom meant we had time our showers correctly but other than that it was a flawless and great experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Heather!!!

Very nice stay. It’s a cabin, but very comfortable with excellent views of the river in a quiet location. The cabin was well stocked with everything and more than we expected. Beds are comfortable after long days. The firewood and ax were nice to not have to buy firewood. There was plenty of supplies - paper towels, zip lock bags, spices for making salmon and more. We had small children and the river is very calm in front of the cabin. The fishing was good at one spot to the left of the property (technically in the water to the property just upriver. it’s shallow enough you can see the fish swim by. We left with 168 lbs of salmon.

Fun fishing trip!

Had a great stay, Heather and Jon were fantastic with communication, before and during our stay, provided fishing tips and information. Beautiful location on the Kenai river, loved the firepit right by the water. Fishing experienced was a bit mixed, while there is plenty of water to try and fish, our best chances of fishing/catching salmon was limited to 1-2 spots at the top of the drift, not ideal for a group of 4. We did have to share this spot with nextdoor neighbors for half our trip but they were very friendly. Once they left, fishing really picked up and was a blast. Overall a great stay, close to public fishing spots, not too far from town, and felt secluded. Thank you for having our group!
