The host and location of this area was ideal for getting on the bus to go to the mountain. And for the price, this place made sense. However, there were a few things I'd point out - just so you're not surprised! This is a first floor unit, and is half underground, so there's not much day light. On top of that, every other light bulb was burnt out, so it felt dark and depressing in the unit. If you are planning on cooking, the kitchen is relatively well stocked with utensils/pots and pans/etc., but be warned, there was no pepper, aluminum foil, oil of any kind, etc... so just know that if you are there to cook, to add in those other expenses. My last comment is that yes, you are on the first floor, and there's neighbors above, but there is no acoustic separation of units. We could hear every single foot step, toilet flush, shower running - to the point we wondered if they were wearing ski boots up there. It is LOUD. When they got up at 7:30 am, we didn't have a choice but to get up ourselves. All things that are livable, but we were a little surprised by. I'd also add that there is no longer a desk (that is shown in the photos).
