We've stayed at Sticks and Stones several times in the past and again enjoyed our stay. We very much admired improvements, e.g., king size bed in upstairs bedroom, new living room sofa, etc.

Great stay for spring break !

We were a mixed family of adults and children and loved the home . It was perfect for accommodating our family as well as close to the ski resort and town . We loved the hot tub as well and how the home was nestled into the trees . My grandsons even saw a little fox in the woods .

Gorgeous home and location

This home was beautiful! Very well stocked and comfortable. We especially loved that each of our 3 couples had private bedrooms with their own bathroom and even their own floor! The location is absolutely beautiful tucked into the aspens and pines, super quiet, and was very convenient to get downtown or out for a hike. We totally enjoyed our stay!!

A wonderful week!

This is a beautiful and well-kept home! We all greatly enjoyed our stay; our adult kids were working from "home" and the internet worked well for meetings, etc.The home backs up to the woods and felt very private, with the advantage of the ski resort and downtown Steamboat being only minutes away. The kitchen and living areas were well appointed with everything we needed to cook and be very comfortable. We enjoyed the large dining table for family games, and the living spaces on all three floors, as well as the deck and hot tub. The property management company responded quickly to our texted questions and was very helpful. We loved the cool mountain air in the home, even on days when it was warm outside (there were also fans in each room, but we didn't need them). Thanks for a wonderful week, and we hope to return again to this home!

Awesome ski trip

Home was cozy and comfortable for our group of 8! We were a bit nervous with the property not being a ski in/ski out but the shuttle service was extremely convenient…very little wait times. Each driver was professional and knowledgeable of the area. Strong recommendation from our family.

House Review

House was in a nice location. Very comfortable beds. However coffee maker needs to be replaced (coffee grounds spill into carafe because the part that allows the coffee to drip is old and malfunctioning), and the dish washer needs to be replaced as it doesn't wash dishes well (had to wash them by hand).

Perfect for family

Very private setting. Beautiful trees. Tv’s for every bedroom plus main living area. Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Table with eight chairs. All sitting areas with comfortable seating.

The overall experience was awesome and the house was even nicer than the pictures revealed and all the different areas worked out perfectly for our friends and family. The only set back for us was the wait time on the shuttle rides back and fourth but overall a great experience

Lovely cabin, close to resort and town

Cozy and comfortable spot, just a short shuttle ride to resort or town. Great communication with management company. Would definitely consider for a return trip.

The house was nicely situated just off of Burgess Creek road.

We had a wonderful stay at Sticks and Stones lodge. A quiet location but easy walk to the base of the mountain. A shuttle service runs to the thunderhead lift making for easy access to the mountain. The management company is very helpful and responsive. A great stay!

House needs maintenance/repairs

We had a really nice stay. I alerted the property manager to several pertinent fixes the home needed. The neighbors unfortunately partied until all hours. For a what is promoted as a luxury home this is not acceptable.

Steamboat Ski Trip

The property was in excellent condition, close location to the mountain and lifts, and Peggy and the rest of the staff were very attentive and helpful! I would definitely book this property again for our next trip to Steamboat.
