Great family ski vacation getaway

Property was great for two families with varying child ages. Shuttle access to mountain was very easy and prompt. Throughly enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful time at Emerald

The property is perfect for our group. We have been to Steamboat a few times before but this property worked very well for us. Check in was a breeze. The condo was immaculate and big enough for 3 families with total of 5 kids. The beds were comfortable and I love that they offered a lot of pillows. It was a few minutes walk to the ski lifts but I prefered using the shuttle. THe shuttles ran every few minutes.

Fun weekend away

We had a fabulous stay! Tons of space for everyone and a great kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils. Beautiful fireplace . Beautiful hot tub. Short walk to the base. We didn’t even need to use the shuttle.

Steamboat Springs

We had an extended family ski trip and this unit was perfect for our family of 11.The condo was spotless, well stocked and spacious. Very easy hot tub access. Cooking for 11 is hard but this unit had plenty to cook for large groups. Was not easily walkable to the gondola but the shuttle was very efficient and we did not wait more than 10 min in either direction. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a large family condo for a ski trip.

Skiing Weekend at Steamboat

*Steps to Gondola* was perfect for our 12 guests ... 5 bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Perfect. Wonderfully stocked kitchen! Loved the lockers by the elevator to store skis...what a plus

Great property & location

We just finished a long weekend and wanted to post that this was such a great property! There were seven of us and everyone got their own bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen was very well stocked and the location and shuttle service was very convenient to the mountain. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay!

The condo was spacious with plenty of amenities. Everything needed to cook a great meal was there as well as clean towels, linens and bathrobes. Great location. Close enough to walk to the ski hill but we used the Trappeur’s Crossing shuttle which was timely and super convenient. Helpful staff. Our host Lindsay was easy to work with. We hope to visit again!

Great Stay!

Had a group of 12 - 3 total families - staying here and we had a great time. Very convenient location to the slopes, we chose to use the busses because of the kids but could have walked as well, and also easy trip into town. Condo is clean and nice and the complex has great amenities like pool, hot tub, and ski lockers. Would stay here again!

Fantastic Condo for Large Groups

We stayed here with our daughter (7) and friends and family. The dual King beds w/en suites is fantastic. One other bedroom (Queen) has an en suite, while the other two bedrooms each have a bathroom across the hall. Shuttle to the base of the mountain runs every 15 minutes.

1st Annual Family Reunion

We been vacationing in Steamboat for over 25 years with our children and now with our grandchildren. We chose this property out of the blue based on the pictures and description. I can honestly say the moment the family walked in the condo there were screams of excitement! It was such a pleasant surprise and exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The best part was the condo overlooked the swimming pool and was just yards away. The walking path to the ski base was yards away too and a 5 minute walk. The grandkids walked to the stream and played in the water and sand for hours. Additionally, stores and restaurants were just a few minutes walk. So overall the property was a big hit with all family members and the convenient location was appreciated too. Will definitely come back again and will highly recommended to friends.

Perfect Holiday House!

“Holiday House” is how our grandchildren referred to this condo. It was exactly as described on the VRBO website. Very well equipped with everything we needed for the week. The beds were very comfortable and the white robes were handy when going to hot-tub and pool. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Steamboat.

Extended Family Wedding

We are a family of 7 ages from 3 to 68. This place allowed us to have our own rooms and privacy while still having quality family time. The place was lovely. Location for us was excellent. Easy checkin and checkout.

Great place!

This condo was perfect for our group of 8, which consisted of 2 families with 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from age 12-17. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, and the shared space was great. The kitchen floor was pretty dirty and the fans had a lot of dust on them when we arrived. Other than that, the place was clean. The kitchen was well-stocked, but could probably use some better oven mits and regular sized spoons, but those are minor things. The condo was very convenient to get to the slopes (we walked some and rode the free shuttle a lot) and a short drive from downtown Steamboat. The pool and hot tub were great, as was the exercise room. We would definitely stay here again!

For the cost of renting this place, I would’ve expected more.

The experience started off great. The condo was ready for check-in early, the kitchen was well-stocked (the knives were excellent!), there was a nice grill on the balcony, and the location was great - an 8-minute walk to the base of the gondola. The shuttle system was great - very reliable, punctual, and convenient. You definitely do not need to rent a car. Just don’t forget to tip the drivers! The management company was also excellent and very attentive. Prior to arriving, I messaged the host a few times, and she responded quickly to my first inquiry. However, I messaged her two additional times with some questions, and she was completely unresponsive. It wasn’t until I messaged her during my stay to let her know that she had mold in her condo that she called me right away. There are some key things that should be addressed immediately: • There is mold in the condo! And I’m not talking about a little bit of mold here or there. The queen bedroom has a serious mold issue, all over the door leading to the outside and the floor. The property management company had to send someone to spot-clean it with bleach, which in my opinion, does not address the root issue. My brother and sister-in-law definitely had respiratory issues, which compounded the elevation/dry conditions we all were dealing with. • All of the doors that lead to the outside area (bedrooms and living room) were stuck shut and took a brute amount of force to open. It’s odd that wood doors were chosen during construction, seeing that wood expands when wet. So when snow/ice melts, the doors expand and get stuck shut. • The queen bedroom has no dresser and zero drawer space for clothing. On top of having to deal with mold, you have to live out of your suitcase. Although there’s a small closet, its hardly enough room, and the lack of drawer space was extremely disappointing. • Although the robes for the hot tub were a nice touch, the queen bedroom did not have any, so we had a couple who were robeless. • There was not one full-length mirror in the condo. • There was no oven mitt in the kitchen, so we had to use the thin dish towel to take things out of the oven. • The garbage can in the kitchen was so small. The bags were big, but the bin itself was half the size of the bag (or maybe even smaller). With 12 people staying here, you can imagine how much trash we accumulated. For the cost of renting this place, I would’ve expected more.

Big condo

This was fine. I’ve stayed at Trappurs Bear lodge mainly and this was not as updated and nice as Bear lodge. Condo is big, has plenty of bathrooms and seating for a big group. Easy to walk to lift. Hot tub in complex is tiny and fits maybe 8 people. Checkin could’ve been better due to a simple mistake on their part.

Just perfect

My family of 5 spent our Thanksgiving week at this lovely condo. It’s well kept, spacious and has everything you need to be comfortable. There was an issue with the cleaning fee being charged upfront and again at the time if check in. It was remedied after contacting the property manager. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it!!
