The unit had everything we needed. Very clean and the hot tub was nice to relax each night before bed. However the condo wasn't ready for us. It was 54 degrees and the pilot wasn't lit and one thermostat was broken. The lady that answered the maintenance line seemed confused. About two hours later everything was fixed. The front door lock was broken and we didn't use the keys because of this. We had to use the garage to come and go. Our truck didn't fit in the garage so we would have to use the code and come and go that way.

Beautiful Property

We stayed here for a family getaway for the weekend and this property was perfect for us. It was very clean upon arrival and it had all the features that were important to us. We really enjoyed the hot tub and we used the grill on two of the nights. At many other properties, the grill is very dirty. Not this one. This property is part of a nice and quiet community and that is something we really appreciated. If I am every planning a trip back to Steamboat Springs we will definitely see if this is available.

Good Stay but could use some improvements

Overall a positive stay. Easy check in and check out process. Rental company was fast to respond when the hot tub stopped working on day 2, which was essentially the main reason we chose this rental for the week. The pull out couch mattress was not comfortable or good. They had an air mattress, but it deflated right away. Dishwasher barely washed things. Toaster was pathetic. Washer and Dryer were okay, but loud and didn't run the spin cycle, so you needed to dry clothes 2x.

Great stay. Very clean and comfortable for 6 people. The only downside was we couldn't get the shuttle service to pick us up because they were fully booked, and we tried to book as soon as we got checked in.

Overall, the property was very nice. It was extremely hot the first night and it made sleeping uncomfortable. Thankfully there were fans. The second night was much more comfortable. There was a bunch of blond hair on the shower wall, but other than that, it seemed clean.

Great location & amenities, but unit needs TLC

While the Retreatia team was all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, we did have some issues with the unit. The biggest problem was the kitchen sink - the pipe underneath came completely disconnected when I went to run the disposal and water poured out under the sink and onto the kitchen floor. A very nice handyman came by but was unable to clear the clogged drain, and they were not able to get a plumber out during our stay to fix it either. While not being able to use the kitchen sink and dishwasher for almost 2 days was our biggest complaint, there were several other things in disrepair that we noticed that were not expected based on the photos we saw - baseboard heaters falling apart, shower faucets sticking out of the wall by repair foam, handles that had been haphazardly glued back on, dirty/stained dining chairs, etc. We enjoyed the location and size of the unit, and loved that it had a private hot tub, however, we have a 2 year old and a 4 year old so having access to a full kitchen was one of the main reasons we booked this unit and the sink drain issue really put a damper on our trip.

Pre Xmas ski trip

My daughter attends CSU and we picked her up and thought we would try Steamboat, we have skied just about all the other locations in Colorado but had never tried Steamboat. The condo location is about a block from the bus pick up which was a little miss leading, we were informed it was right in front of the unit (its about a 10 minute walk in ski boots). When we arrived at he condo it took us 30 minutes to get into the unit, the keys just spin in the locks. I called the office and they responded right away, however they never solved the problem with the lock. We used the garage door code to lock the unit up when we were gone. The beds and bedding were awesome, we VRBO a lot and the beds were the best ever. The hot tub is on the second-floor deck and is a perfect size for the unit, works well. My wife is a clen freak and she wanted me to mention how dirty the ceiling fan in the living room was during our stay. Overall we really enjoyed Steamboat and the codo was very nice for the 3 of us. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location

The aspens were at their peak and after a day of hiking it was so nice to come back to the condo and relax on the huge deck and enjoy the hot tub. The unit was very clean and with a well-stocked kitchen. And the huge deck was so nice to sit and enjoy the surrounding area.

We stayed here for a work visit and the space was great. The hot tub was a great addition. Check in and out process was easy and it’s on a bus line making commuting around very easy. We had some wifi issues but otherwise the stay was great. Would definitely stay here again!
