We traveled from MN, although Steamboat Springs regulars. We planned our stay for our fall 2025 wedding. Our friends and family were amazed by the beautiful lodge, property and accommodations. We have agreed that we would come stay again for a family trip or anniversary. Erica and David provide a very comfortable stay and gave amazing privacy to us and our guests. 10/10 Recommend for large group stay and/or wedding events.

We will be back! We hosted our micro wedding here. Overall 100/10. The wedding lawn was PERFECT, there were beautiful areas for photos, amenities were amazing, the 2 year old nephew had enough to stay busy the entire 5 days. It was just perfect. Erica and David were great hosts, always available when we needed them. Would recommend to anyone who will respect the mountain lodge and who is looking for a relaxing stay. Fun Location

Wedding Location of a Lifetime

Sky Valley Chateau is a supreme home to host a group of family & friends. We had our wedding there & included 30 friends who stayed in the house & a few others who stayed in town. It is a gorgeous home, so clean & tidy, equipped with everything you need, & the owners, Erica & David are gracious hosts.

Homey Chateau

We had 20 staying at the house, and it was PERFECT with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. The layout was spread out so you didn't feel like you were on top of each other, yet a beautiful, large kitchen/dining area for meal congregation. The back yard was also perfect for gathering for morning coffee and evening cocktail hours and games. We will be sure to come back for future reunions. Dave and Erica were SUPERIOR hosts!

The best large group house rental I have done

Sky Valley Chateau is fantastic. Great kitchen with tons of eating space. A hot tub that actually fits a large group, fantastic hosts, plenty of fridge space, and more. This is our second time there and certainly won't be our last.

Great for large group

We had a large research group retreat here and everything was great! We have done this retreat a few winters in a row now and this was by far the best house we have stayed in. The house is well set up for 30 people, the host was easy to contact and responded quickly. Close to skiing and hot springs. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Family Christmas!!!

We had our 2024 family/extended family Christmas at Sky Valley Chateau. What a great success!! The space fit our group perfectly and was just a beautiful space for our Christmas celebration :) Erica and her family were perfect hosts and made the whole process and stay easy and enjoyable! Can't say enough good things about the space, location and service. Thank you for helping us create magical family memories!!

Amazing Large Family Celebration

We are seasoned travelers, and this was one of our best vacations. The communication with super hosts David and Erica was fantastic. The chateau was spacious, had custom furnishings and plenty of space to accommodate our large group. The outside grounds allowed us to frolic in the snow with our sleds and build snowmen. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing location in Steamboat

We had our wedding at Sky Valley Chateau and the property was AMAZING. Erica and David were super helpful, communicative, and made check-in and check-out seamless. I would HIGHLY recommend the space for your wedding or for your ski vacation with larger groups. 10/10

Beautiful setting for an intimate wedding

We can not thank Sky Valley Chateau enough for allowing us to hold our special day at their property. The house was perfectly sized to fit all our loved ones in one place and the property provided a beautiful backdrop. The hosts, David and Erica, were very easy to work with and so incredibly kind.

Family reunion

We just had the most amazing family reunion with all of our children, spouses and grandchildren, total 29 people! This location was perfect, plenty of individual sleeping/bathrooms, beautiful big kitchen for meals, great gathering, spaces weather inside or out for groups to mingle, And the pool spa was a great hit with everyone. Our house were amazing… Replacing pool towels like magic responding to every question, friendly, and kind. We unfortunately left some cooking pots behind, but Erica came to our rescue. We definitely would recommend this beautiful home and will be returning in the future.

Look no further

The owners are not only extremely nice and accommodating, they are also meticulous to every detail from the quality of the accommodations all the way down to the landscaping. Our guests were absolutely blown away and although we have seen the place before, staying here and enjoying the well stocked kitchens, grill, hot tub, and other amenities really blew us away. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGGLY recommend!

Magnificient!

We held a family reunion at this beautiful location, and it allowed us all to stay under one roof. The space is great for all ages, and allows everyone to come together (or find their own spaces).
