  • Ski-in/ski-out from this fantastic top-floor condo in Storm Meadows Club A. Find yourself surrounded by 'ski lodge” décor with classic ski equipment and ski posters and photos throughout. Relax in the hot tub or outdoor heated pool while taking in a magical mountain view. The den area is a second bedroom with a sliding door to provide privacy from the living room during the evening but can be opened up during the day to expand the openness of the living room. Amenities include spacious accommodations with vaulted ceilings, quality furnishings, a queen sleeper sofa, two twin beds that can be converted into a king, two TVs (43-inch UHD HDR Roku LED TV in the living room plus a 40-inch HD flatscreen TV in the bedroom, both support guest-provided streaming services like Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc.), a queen bed in the primary bedroom, a DVD/CD player, gas fireplace, deck, ski storage locker, elevator, sauna, and laundry room on site.

    The full kitchen includes small and major appliances, there are two breakfast bar stools, and the dining table seats six guests (there are six upholstered chairs). The second bathroom is equipped with grab bars and an accessible walk-in shower. You'll have private shuttle access on winter days, a large assortment of restaurants, and apres-ski meeting places are close by. The Storm Meadows complex also includes a complete spa facility with a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, weight room, and exercise equipment. There is a ski locker located in the basement of the building. The shared tennis court is lined for pickleball matches, so be sure to challenge someone to a good game! Great Stay!

Loved the ability to ski in and out - also that there was a shuttle if needed. Property had great amenities, including a well outfitted kitchen, pool and hot tub, and exercise area. Good location, nice unit!

Pretty nice condo!!

We liked the overall experience, but the location is simply not as good as say Torian Plum where you can easily walk down to slope side for dinner. The ski in ski out is true, but you need to work the poles to go up hill to get to the runs or even back to the building. So, maybe for younger or older skiers, a little harder. Further, if you end up at or want to go to the base, this place has a shuttle bus which runs every 30 min. And if you then want to go downtown or the grocery, you need to transfer to the city bus. So, If you stay here, it’s either rent a car or be prepared to pay 24 bucks each way in an Uber. Also, the hot tub in our building was out of order, so my son had to walk to the next building over which is less than ideal. I would stay there again if the price was right. :)

Comfortable and clean accommodations were appreciated. Ski and ski out ability was marginal due to the minimal amount of snowfall and icy conditions that our current state. We appreciated the hot tub and the easy shuttle to the village.

The listing is very misleading

First off the actual condo inside was wonderful. When we first walked in there were a couple of dirty dishes left next to the bed, a slight overlooked issue. If you have ever been to Steamboat you know there are private shuttles that bring you around downtown, to stores and restaurants. Vacasa has quite a few. Private is defined as belonging to or for the use of one particular person or group of people only. The listing states that there is a “private shuttle” and makes it seem like there is one to bring you all around and that was far from the case. It only went to the base and stopped running at 430, so if you need get anywhere else you need to rent a car. Next it says that it is a “ski in/ski out”. Technically speaking it is but the most sketchy path I’ve ever seen. If you are a novice or have kids it’s not the best place to ski in or out. Finally on day 3 of our 6 day stay our keys stopped working. We came in from a long day of skiing and couldn’t get in because of the keys. I was on hold for over an hour on the phone trying to get in touch with someone in California. Finally got ahold of someone and got keys after sitting around for a while. There is no front desk or numbers to get in touch with anyone local which would have helped tremendously. It has phone numbers to a different management company that told me they don’t handle the property anymore. All in all the skiing was fun but this listing is very misleading and I would recommend staying closer to the base down the mountain.

Nice place

Very convenient ski-in ski-out and a quiet place. Ski locker had easy access. Very clean and kitchen was well supplied for cooking. The small hot tub on the 1st floor was a nice surprise. We did not have a car and getting an Uber or Lyft was sketchy probably because of Covid. In the past it was not a problem.

Great place - terrible Management Company

The condo we stayed in in Steamboat is a magnificent place. Very clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable. On arrival there were some pretty significant plumbing issues that needed to be addressed. I reached out to Vacasa to address these issues and never once heard back from them. Needlessly to say, we had to deal with the plumbing issues our entire stay, it wasn't a good experience.

Nice ski in ski out condo.

I have rented condos in this building in the past. Works well if you like a ski in ski out condo. Furniture, decorations and kitchen elements were very nice and condo was clean and the condo owners did a very good job of of making the condo feel inviting and homey. My only issue was the master shower curtain was extremely gross with black mold at the bottom. I would not use the master shower. Unacceptable and I blame the management company not the owner. Fix that and it is a 5 Star.

Late January stay

I was very impressed with the property and the property manager, Brad. Having a property on VRBO, and regularly using rentals in ski towns, gives me a little insight when a manager is on top of their game, very much the case here!! Check in/out and location were very slick and very convenient. I would recommend this property and property management company wholeheartedly, no hesitation. The condo is very sunny, was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking complicated menus. For my next trip to Steamboat I'll be using Brad and Steamboat Vacation Rentals!!

The sign in the parking lot says `Permit Required` and threatens towing. This was not addressed anywhere in the check-in info (that I could find). There were a few little things that were a little annoying such as: 1) Burned out light bulbs 2) Blinds remote didn`t work 3) Ski Locker lock is broken 4) Noisy neighbors who were partying at all hours. 5) Dead batteries in TV remote. 6) Shower head needs replacing This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
