overall great - would stay here again
Great find further up the mountain than we usually stay. The 100 yd walk to Thunderhead seems longer because it's uphill, but overall very doable especially since there was a place to leave our stuff when we came in for lunch break. House was great with all the needed amenities. Recommend they upgrade the non-smart tv with a Roku or just spend $500 for a new tv, otherwise had everything we needed. King bed had a memory-foam pillow-top which was fine, but that would be the next recommended upgrade.

Steamboat masterpiece
A fun father and son trip to the amazing steamboat ski resort. The condo was clean and the hosts were amazing. Even replacing the leaky garbage disposal. The hot tub was great. The only difficult thing was the lack of parking. Otherwise it was a perfect 10 out of 10.

Great ski vacation
We had a great stay at this property. We were able to walk every day just a short distance to thunderhead lift and skip all the lines at the bottom of the mountain. Definitely worth it. We would stay here again.

Awesome mountain
Accurate description of the property. The walk to the lift is uphill and about 10 min. Once at the lift the rest is easy.

Quick ski trip.
This property was in a good location, it is not Ski in/Ski out, as mentioned in some of the other reviews. It is a short walk to the thunderhead lift. The kitchen has been updated and is nice. It has an older TV, but it worked well, the furniture is old and pretty worn out. The sofa has very poor support. The bedrooms and bathrooms are outdated. The king bed is very soft to where you feel like you sink into it pretty far. We dropped something on the side of the nightstand, and were surprised to find some dirty tissues. Overall for the price it was very nice and conveniently located.

Hidden Gem! Steps to the slopes
This property is a hidden gem. It is situated at the top of the hill and is a 5 minute walk to the lift. You will need to most likely rent a car for getting around town if you do want to go exploring. The unit was clean, roomy, cozy, and very quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and pool. Great water pressure in the showers, a nice kitchen, which was great for cooking, and a comfy living room. We had a really great time and the communication with the host was very good. - Thank you so much!

Great condo!
Great condo, well stocked and clean! Updated and nice stocked with everything you might need (towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials). Pool and hot tub were clean and right across the hall from the unit. It is NOT a ski in/ski out condo as listed. It was a 5 minute walk to the lift, which was not that big of a deal, but definitely is not ski in/out. We would stay there again. Thanks!

Thanks so much for the 5 star review, Molly! This is super helpful for our future guests. Correct, this property is a 5-minute walk to the Thunderhead chairlift. However, there is also a small trail that goes through the trees behind the building and does take you right onto the cat track. So technically, you can ski in/out that way as long as you are comfortable in the trees. I totally understand the confusion there, we will make updates to the listing to be more clear. We look forward to having you in the future! (:

Great Place
Perfect space for our family of 4. Short walking distance to Thunderhead lift for east access to skiing. Hot tub, pool and sauna were clean and maintained - and right across the hall from this unit. Would stay again!

Nice condo short walk to Thunderhead Lift
Clean (only 1 hair in shower) condo with nice kitchen. Ideal for small group (2-3 people). TV doesn’t have NFLX capability. Gas fireplace works well. Door directly to outside is helpful as entrance to complex is steep and outdated. Five minute walk to Thunderhead Lift. Not truly ski-in/ski-out, but close. Basement unit, so dark and no mountain views. Not on shuttle route and host should have supplied pamphlets of things to do in the area. Primary bedroom needs new sheets that have stronger elastic. Had to remake the bed every morning. Comfortable, quiet spot, but definitely not luxe.

Loved this place.
We really loved this condo. It was very comfortable for our family of 4. Very quiet. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and the ski in/out was convenient. The modern decor and well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook a variety of meals. Thank you.

Scandinavian lodge is a great place to stay in Steamboat
It was clean, clearly remodeled and worked well for us. SL is walking distance to the Timberidge chair, and avoids the Gondola on weekend mornings. Our son used the hot tub - sign up for a time for your unit - and it worked well. Good communication with SkyRidge - we let them know our departure routine and it worked well.

Great Condo
Condo was as advertised and nice to be ski in and ski out. Only downside is that it’s not terribly convenient to get to the mountain if you’re not on skis

Very nice location and clean
This place was very nice and clean, it is located in a very nice affluent neighborhood with clean environment and good view. The only disappointment was that in picture it was advertised as upper floor with mountain view but the apartment they gave us was in first floor and we had to go down in stairs to the lowest floor. Other than that everything else was good.

Colorado stay
I don’t think I would consider this a ski in- ski out but the location was nice for skiers. We enjoyed the mountain as well as tons of activities in town. Check in and check out process were simple. We enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. One day a moose walked down the mountain to join us! We enjoyed watching him graze from the hot tub.

Great property in a good location
This property met or exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was excellent with top shelf appliances (excepting the electric stovetop, we prefer gas.). Beds were very comfortable and the pull out has a memory foam pad, making it very usable. Perfect for up to five people. Location is a short walk (150 yds uphill) to the lifts. It is a basement unit so there are limited views. All in all, a very nice place and a great value.

Wonderful Winter Holiday
This unit was a wonderful place to spend our ski vacation. My daughter (11) and I had a wonderful time! The unit is not very big square footage wise but it is laid out smartly and was more than enough room for the two of us. This unit could easily have had a family of four without anyone tripping over anyone else. It could comfortably accommodate 6 people if you employ the living room sofa bed. The en-suite master has lots of nice towels and a jacuzzi tub that was amazing for helping amerilorate aches and pains from skiing. The internet access was great and while the TV channel selection is limited (about the same as a hotel so im not passing judgement) I was able to use my netflix and amazon through the xfinity box. The kitchen was better equipped than many other condos I have rented from other locations throughout the years. There were plenty of cups, plates, silverware and cookware to make a variety of meals and a fridge big enough to keep trips to City Market to a minimum. It was truly a delight to cook and eat in this kitchen and as a result we had all of our meals there save for pizza the night we arrived, one lunch on the mountain, and dinner out the night before we left. The proximity to the ski area (ski out- a short walk from the base of thunderhead) made it relatively easy to stop and have lunch during the day thus saving hundreds of dollars that would have been spent on the mountain. Our lunch on the mountain was $40 for 2 and nowhere as good as the food we were able to make from home. As a ground floor unit we were able to walk out our porch kick into our skis and take a short trail to the slopes! One word of advice: If you stay here make sure you have 4WD or AWD. This area gets a lot of snow the road coming in can be icy. The management company was also on point and answered all my questions right away. I will definitely stay here again! This stay definitely felt like staying in a well appointed home rather than a cheaply furnished condo. Thank you to the owners for taking the extra effort to do that. It was noticed and appreciated!

Comfortable place to stay
Clean comfortable and well maintained property. Fireplace was nice to relax by at the end of skiing. Rental manager was very responsive. Only downside was the location. Not being on the bus route (parking is limited right at the resort) and the walk to and from the lift along an icy hilly road (3-5 mins) wasn’t ideal, but it worked.

Great Place
You can ski out your back door through some yards right to the resort. You can ski back past the Thunderhead Express and walk about 100 yards. The heat and fireplace were cozy and great!
