If we knew about this while it was happening, we would have been happy to come by and help. We do manage the unit upstairs as well and we could contact the guests and ask that they be more mindful of the downstairs neighbors. We hope you enjoyed yourself otherwise. Take care.

Hi Andy - We really appreciate all of your feedback and completely understand your frustration during your stay. All of your feelings are valid and I am sorry that we didn't have the opportunity to correct some of this as soon as they occurred. We would have done our best to make this situation better for you had we known there was a problem. I apologize that the comforters needed to be refreshed and that some of the dishes/dusting were missed. We would have been happy to send our cleaners back in to take care of that right away. I would have come over and lowered the shower curtain had I known that was a problem as well. As far as the sound traveling through the walls, this is something we have dealt with before and we would have knocked on the upstairs neighbors door ourselves to quiet them down. Again, I apologize that your stay didn't go as well as you had hoped and we will use your feedback to improve upon for our future guests. Take care and we wish you nothing but the best.

Hi Therese, Thanks very much for your feedback. We try to be clear with our guests that there is no shuttle to this unit, but we will make some updates to ensure it is even more evident. Because this is an old building there are thin walls, so yes you can usually hear neighbors. We keep the security phone number visible in the unit so you can always call if they are being noisy after quiet hours. We hope you were still able to enjoy your time in Steamboat!
