This property was incredible! Tons of space, perfect location (walkable to mountain, short drive to downtown), lots of amenities. Host was super responsive to questions and gave detailed instructions for smooth check-in and checkout. We would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again!

Great place for a large family

Loved having 5 rooms (each with their own bath). The well stocked kitchen was great and we appreciated that there were toiletries and paper products and trash bags provided. Great location, fun pool, loved it!

Great location, beautiful unit...but...

The property was really nice and so spacious, but obviously well used and needs TLC. There was substantial mold in one bathroom, but the management sent cleaners to deal with it immediately and they followed up to ensure we were happy with the result. There were no cleaning materials (i.e., cleaning spray), but we made do. Beds were amazingly comfortable! Property was great with many pools and hot tubs to choose from. Cutest little fox was on front porch nightly! Walking distance to base of mountain and shops/restaurants. Very quiet and access to garage was good for our group (one in a wheel chair).

Spring break at Emerald Lodge

We loved our stay at Emerald Lodge! It had just enough space for our 2 families with grown children and teens, and the location is perfect - a short walk to the gondola. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and dishes, and the host very responsive. Garage parking is also a plus!

Great location and nice unit!

We enjoyed our stay at the unit. We were close to all the events of the wedding we attended and within walking distance of the base of the mountain. Unit was nice and spacious and accurately conveyed in the descriptions and pictures. Would recommend staying here and would stay again!

Great for a big group!

We had a terrific week in this condo, 10 people, ranging from teens to 80's. Pros: -5bd/5ba - everyone had their own bath and we had the right amount of room for 10 people (4 family units). No limits on hot water - everyone could shower whenever they wanted. -Pools - at this time of year, practically private pools. They're not huge, but we found ourselves doing morning activities and afternoons by the pool - they were awesome. -Seating for everyone! We could all spend time on the deck together. The dining table seated 10 and still had more extra chairs. -Location, obviously. Steamboat is awesome, and there was a lot for our group to do. -Well appointed & solid kitchen set-up. -Beds were comfortable; all of the furniture was sturdy and comfortable Cons - all just minor inconveniences, though, no deal-breakers: -The outdoor lounge furniture is showing some significant wear. -The deck overlooks an HVAC farm for the complex - not a visual issue (it's screened) but a constant background noise/humming. -The odd mirror in one bathroom was inconvenient. -Bathroom shower faucets weren't great - they worked, but could use updating. Overall, it was a terrific stay and we'd stay there again!!! We've been doing these trips for years, and this one received a 5-star rating from everyone - which is hard to do! :)

Property manager lies

Key fob system does not work. I was told key for my guests were in the unit. When I explained they were not, I was accused of not looking and given 2 locations to look again. The implication was that I was lying. The then told me was they could not do anything until Monday and to use the master key retrieved from he lock box. It was fixed on Sun. When we complained that the door nit was hot, we were told to open windows because the HOA controlled the temp for us he entire building and that the unit thermostats did not. The next day, workers showed up to repair the AC. In short, the property manager cannot be trusted. Instructions were very long and complicated.

This was an awesome spot for two families with kids. Each room had its own bathroom and it was very spacious. Shuttles ran often. Kitchen well stocked. Will definitely look to book again!

Descriptions need revision

This is a very spacious and clean home with modern conveniences and everything you need! Check in process was cumbersome with the second code not listed in the instructions. Would have been nice to have been given more specific directions to the parking garage. The description to the property said it was walking distance to downtown, however downtown is at least two miles away, so while some people might consider this walking distance, we do not. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and thank you for the lovely time!

Great Property

We had family coming from 3 different locations and wanted to meet somewhere fun. We loved the rental! It had the perfect number of bedroom and as a bonus, lots of bathrooms. We appreciated that. The house was clean and staged well. The large dining table was a plus. Also in a good location. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great for large family

This property adequately accommodated all 12 of our family comfortably. It was well stocked with all the kitchen necessities as well all as pantry staples. This property was also well stocked with games which my grand children had a blast with during our very limited down time. The reason for the 4 star rating for cleanliness is because when checking under beds and dressers before leaving we found two dirty diapers under one of the dressers. The washing machine leaked water when we washed a load of clothes and the iron board was broken which was not that big of deal. When I contacted customer service they responded quickly, but didn't think they could get it replaced before we left. The kids loved the pools, which were easy to access and there were always clean pool towels available. Overall, this property meet our needs. We would stay here again.

Spacious Condo in Steamboat CO

9 of us came for a Mustang Car Show and this condo met all of our needs. We needed 5 bedrooms and bathrooms which the condo had. The bedroom with the bunk beds was a small space for adults but perfect for kids. The location was perfect for everywhere we needed to go. Checking in needs improvement, the letter we received with instructions was not thorough enough. We had to go to the office the next morning and the office straightened out our key issues. Overall, a nice place.

Great for our family reunion!

My family loved this VRBO! There were plenty of bedrooms each with its own bathroom except one. We loved the large living room and kitchen to congregate. The property had hot tubs, new grills and a pool available to use. Nice to park in the underground garage. Pay attention to the cancellation policy. We hoped to leave a day early because of early flights out of Denver but were not in the cancellation timeframe even though the request was made weeks out.

Dream location short walk to village and lifts. Perfect for our family from ages 4-70! Every bedroom had a bathroom, spacious living room, all amenities in the kitchen, access pool and hot tub to relax. Our whole family loved it and would love to rent this unit again next year!!

Family snow ski vacation

This home in the Emerald Lodge building was perfect for our annual family ski trip. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The condo was exactly as pictured and clean when we arrived. The resort transportation made it so easy to get around, there is no need to rent a car.

Beautiful condo, excellent location - overall great stay

We truly enjoyed our week at Emerald Lodge 5, the unit was plenty large, we had all of the amenities we needed and it is in a primo location relative to the Steamboat ski village. We walked to the ski/gondola area, we used the very convenient shuttles and were able to easily park our three vehicles in the garage underneath or across the street at Trappeaurs Crossing (affiliated lodging). The views off the balcony of our unit were beautiful, the condo is lavishly furnished and decorated. It is a great unit. Our only issue was that for the price we paid - we would have expected to arrive to a much cleaner unit. It is understandable, I guess, given the challenges these days w labor and keeping staff - and we gladly soldiered on. There were a few minor maintenance issues that we reported to property management and they were very friendly and responsive. Overall this was an excellent experience!!!
