    Welcome to Promontory 19, by Mountain Vacation Lodging. This Steamboat Ski Resort, base area condo is also offered as a 4 bedroom. This is the 3 bedroom version. This ground floor, spacious end unit was completely renovated in the last few years. It boasts heated floors, high ceilings, a brand new kitchen, lots of natural light, and a beautiful King master suite, and those are just a few of the features found on the entry level. This home sleeps up to 8 comfortably in the first 3 bedrooms.

    Conveniently located only 200 yards from the “Stampede” Ski Trail, you will have an easy walk to and from the ski slopes, or for summer guests, to and from hiking & biking trails, the mountain coaster, mini golf, and more! This property is close enough that you'll be able to ski home for lunch, send grumpy tired kids home without an escort, or you might swing by just to swap out clothing. goggles, dry your gloves, or have some hot cocoa.

    Bask in the luxury of radiant heated floors, down comforters, year-round hot tub and heated pool, and spacious deck and patio areas for enjoying the temperate Yampa Valley days and evenings. You will discover a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, French door refrigerator, and beverage fridge. There is seating galore for your entertainment needs, at the bar area along with a large dining room table, perfect for your family dining, gathering or card playing after a day on the slopes! Plus the year round city shuttle service picks up and drops off about 250 yards away, so you'll be able to get anywhere in town with ease.

    Please note - The renovations and remodeling have given this property a very consistently high quality throughout, and it is our aim to keep it that way. As such, athletic groups, triple crown groups, sports teams, ski teams, etc are not permitted in this property. For any guests booking this property, the primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Groups with adults younger than 30 must inquire with us and receive approval before booking. We do have other properties which might be a great fit for athletic groups, teams, or young adult groups. Please contact us to discuss options. Please also note - groups larger than 8 people will have to pay a surcharge of $10 per person per night on top of posted rates.

    ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
    ** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
    ** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit.     ** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on. If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc.

Ski vacation

To far to walk to and from skiing, not a ski in/out as described. No shuttle, we have never stayed in a unit without a shuttle in Steamboat. Great water pressure but you run out of hot water after 3rd shower. Hot tub is a nightmare, residents take all the best times and troll you when you are in relaxing. Fireplace was leaking gas so we never were able to enjoy it, they turned it off and never addressed it after the first day. Besides that it was a nice unit.

Over all it was beautiful home and great area, But DOG HAIR EVERYWHERE😢😢

Again beautiful home just had an issue with the fact that I chose a location that didn't not allow pets because myself and 3yr old daughter are allergic to dog hair. And the place had long dog hair on pillows on bed which I had to wash the set of sheets to make sure we could sleep on them. And on some of the towels and floors. My baby had an allergic reaction and I itched for the time we were there. But if you don't have allergies to dogs then it's a great stay. Great view! Big enough for everyone to have their space when needed. And loved the waffle maker. Was a hit for everyone.

Very nice condo

This is a nice place. 6 of us visited recently and had a great time. The kitchen and bathrooms all appear new. The kitchen is well appointed with a full array of cooking equipment. The pantry is equipped with most of the spices and cooking oils you will need so you don't have to buy them at the super market. You can easily cook any meal you want in the condo. We really enjoyed being able to walk to and from the slopes. We also enjoyed the deck which gets full sun in the afternoon and was a great place to hang out and warm up after skiing. The house comes with an optional 4th bedroom that includes 3 extra beds. The bedrooms are somewhat cramped so the extra space is really nice if you have a decent sized group. All in all it is a great place and Steamboat is a nice family destination for skiing.

Fabulous home for a large group.

Beautiful, homey, accommodates a large group very well! We opted for the 4th bedroom which offers 3 additional double beds. This home accommodated our extended family group fabulously. The recent remodel is absolutely gorgeous. Short walk to the shuttle. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. We had the best trip ever. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
