Great Steamboat Getaway

We had a great stay in Steamboat. The house was perfect for our family - me and my wife, two kids (6yo and 9yo) and their grandma. We cooked multiple meals, played board games and puzzles, and enjoyed the front porch. The location was ideal - we could walk to town easily and the neighborhood was very charming. We felt like locals!

Best stay for family and dogs

This house is a great find! We stayed here mid February during a good snowfall with our family and two dogs. We loved how pet friendly it was, there was dog trays, bowls, places to hang leashes and an enclosed front yard for the dogs. There is an enclosed backyard as well but due to the amount of snow we did not utilize it. The kitchen is stocked with GOOD quality kitchenware (pans, utensils, etc.) The beds were extremely comfortable, and thermostats were easy to use. Plus all new appliances! The set up of the house was fabulous with plenty of space for 6 adults comfortably. It’s also well stocked with complimentary shampoo/conditioner and soap. The garage is amazing with snowboard/ski racks to let you gear dry off and also a boot/glove dryer. There’s also a shovel to use to clear some snow away. Additionally, I was very impressed with how clean the house was, especially for it being pet friendly! Due to the amount of snow we had and the requirement of parking in the garage, the garage will only fit two small/medium vehicles. To park our truck in the garage we had to park it diagonally. We also had to be sure to have our phones on us because as mentioned in previous reviews the pedestrian door leading from the garage to inside the house will lock automatically when closed and the code is long. Overall, my entire family was impressed with this house, it felt like home away from home and can tell the owners care about the house and guests experience!

Cozy and comfortable home near downtown

This home was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. It was nicely laid out, had a great kitchen and dining area, and was within walking distance of downtown. The 2 car garage was nice to have with the snow and cold temperatures. It was also just a short drive to the parking area for the ski resort. We would stay here again.

Convenient location and nice walk to town. Comfortable beds. Interior and Exterior needs some care. Several windows don't work, had to sleep downstairs it was too hot upstairs... No air conditioning. Trash left in garage that smelled horrible the entire time we were there.

Loved our stay

We loved the house and the location. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook. I will say the property is hard to get in and out of with multiple access codes required. However, we felt safe. We hope to stay again !

Warm and cozy

My wife and I stayed here for Valentines Day week. Very nice place to stay. The beds are comfortable and the garage is a plus in snowy weather.

Cozy Old Town Home

Great location and cozy home that had everything we needed. The Kitchen was well equipped, including cooking spices! We enjoyed the proximity to the downtown and neighborhood dog parks as wel, and would stay here again.

Cozy House Close to Downtown

We completely enjoyed staying at this amazing dog friendly property. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had so much snow and the gas fire added to the warmth of the atmosphere. Downtown with pubs and coffee shops is a few blocks away and we found a great park for the dog a couple blocks to the east. We would highly recommend this property. The property managers were very responsive. All in all a great visit to Steamboat.

Close to Town and Well Stocked

Lovely home near downtown. Spent a long weekend with two other adult couples - 6 in all. We all had our own comfortable bed. Kitchen is very well stocked and we ate in all weekend.

Beautiful home, great location - woeful management

The house itself is beautiful. Well decorated. Comfortable. Well stocked. Great kitchen and a nice outdoor area. If that were the entirety of the experience, 5/5 hands down. However, the management through Vacasa was horrible. If I were the owner I would be looking at other options. The check in instructions indicated a keypad on the front door. No keypad in sight. Went around back to the garage and there was a keypad, but the code didn't work. We called Vacasa and they just repeated what the instructions said. We finally got in, but only because we were able to find a key in the backyard near the door. We had to crawl over banks of unshoveled snow to get to the back and search for a key. If we didn't randomly find that key we wouldn't have gotten into the property. Then, Vacasa never gave us a solution for the code so we were constantly locking ourselves out of the house as the key only worked for one door. Due to the lack of code we also couldn't access the garage from outside making it a frustrating experience everytime we returned to the house. Lastly, we inquired about a late check out for the last day and no response from Vacasa. Like I said, incredible house. If I check the listing in the future and it doesn't say Vacasa, I will rent again.

I’d stay again

This place had the space we needed. The 2 car garage is such a bonus. My dogs loved to be outside in the fenced yard. The walk to downtown is fast.

Location great

Location is great . Walk to restaurants. No AC, house was warm in September at night. Very clean inside but did smell like some water damage. Exterior of house needs some TLC.

Lovely Steamboat Bungalow

What a charming home, walking distance to downtown Steamboat. Well appointed in every way, with a well stocked kitchen for entertaining or just making meals at home, even for a larger group. I was impressed that the property was in such good condition considering they allow dogs. Top quality bedding, plenty of towels for guests, and a spectacular porch to have your coffee on in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was very responsive. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Steamboat.

Great place to stay but bring your own towels

This is our second time staying at this place and we think it will be our Go-to when staying in Steamboat. The kitchen is well-appointed with fantastic appliances and cookware. Really a great location for walking into town and lots of room for families to hang out and play games. The one issue was that the property only allowed five towels, two washcloths and two hand towels for five people for four days. I texted the management company, requesting a couple more washcloths and hand towels but they would not due to policy. We went and purchased what we needed for the rest of the stay.

Lovely home

This home is great, we have stayed several times. It's exactly what we need when we need to get away. It is clean and cozy. We have brought our dog and the fenced yards are perfect. Can't recommend this place enough, you will love it! Neighbors are also very friendly.

Family weekend in the boat - a wonderful place to stay

Our stay was wonderful! We were greeted with two moose in the front yard in the morning. Great location .. close to town and a quick drive to ski. Kitchen well stocked with cooking pan/ bowls/ etc. Also had 2 kids under 2 and they did great with the house. They even had toys and games.

Charming Old Town home

Wonderful Old Town Steamboat vibe, just a short walk to downtown. We had a lovely, quiet ski and relaxation stay. The house is amazingly clean, updated and the kitchen is fully equipped. If you are looking for a place for a quiet get away, I highly recommend this home. If you're looking for a place to have late night parties, this is not for you. This is a charming residential neighborhood with other homes very close by. We will definitely stay here again.
