Contactless check in is really convenient. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with adequate supplies. The hot tub was wonderful and it was serviced twice while we were there by very polite young workers. We had one maintenance request that was not or could not be addressed while we were there.....one lock on the sliding glass doors in the kitchen was missing, leaving the door unlockable. We wedged a metal bar in the track while we were out and at night, but wanted to let the owners know about this issue in case they were unaware,

Amazing place

This rental has to be one of if not the nicest we’ve stayed in over the years. It was extremely clean, well set up and stocked with anything we needed. The kitchen had more than enough to cook any sort of meal. The views were incredible and we were treated to deer, moose and a fox all while sitting on the deck. We will definitely be back!

Birthday celebration!

Some friends and I were staying at this lovely home for some birthday celebrations. Everything about this home was so cozy and had incredible views! Communication with rental property was good but they couldn’t answer many detailed questions about the house, like if there were pots and pans in the kitchen, which there were but we ended up bringing our own. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay

This house is a great ski accommodation!

We loved this house. It’s in a great setting all by itself, so no noisy/nosy neighbors. It has all the amenities, and we found it very comfortable and spacious at the same time. The upstairs MBR is a cool loft, with a sliding door that does not keep out all the noise but is very cool. It is within easy reach of town and the gondolas.

Christmas Stay

Beautiful place with amazing views! Great location to spend our Christmas. Lots of snow and close to everything. Very well appointed for everything from cooking to doing laundry. If you plan to visit, make sure to inventory before you shop. They have more than we could have imagined, from spices to baking!

Beautiful Home and Location

This house has a great mountain-view from the deck. It's in the middle of everything but feels like it's out on it's own due to clever architecture. The interior is very new and clean. The only minor gripe is that the description said there was a Keurig for the upstairs bedroom but there was not. Overall we had a fantastic time here.

Perfect Mountain House

Our family absolutely loved the house. The location, the views, the size, the perfectly stocked kitchen, it could not have been better. The little walking trails right outside of the house were also perfect for our kiddos to burn off some extra energy. It is such an easy drive, ride or even walk into town. Don’t think twice, the house is even better than the pictures!

Steamboat was beautiful! First time in this part of Colorado. Usually go to the Breckinridge area. Steamboat was a slower paced town. Good restaurants and shops. House was beautiful and comfortable. Retreat is was very easy to work with! Will not hesitate to rent from their properties in the future! Had a horrible experience with Vacasa in the past”run from anything managed by Vacasa!!! House had everything you need to fix meals, the hot tub was awesome! Very enjoyable stay!

Spring Break Ski Trip

We had a wonderful stay at Ritter Ski Hutte. The house accommodated everyone with comfortable spaces to sleep and gather for family meals. The house was well stocked with linens, dishes, cooking supplies -- everything we needed! The location is the perfect combination of easy access to both the mountain and town but also secluded with gorgeous views.

Nice unit, great condition--quality throughout. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need/want and more. The owners are incredibly organized and labeled everything and provided detailed instructions for all appliances and electronics. If you need privacy/quiet at night, this probably isn't the best unit for you as the master suite has two barn doors and does not provide a good sound barrier to noises below.

Great stay

Beautiful property and views, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, hiking trails across the street, good management. One of the nicest properties we have stayed in in the 10 years we have been coming to Steamboat. There is a busy road outside and you do need a car.

Wonderful and well done house in a great location!

Really nice house and especially nice to have the garage space for bikes (or skis). Easy bike ride into downtown Steamboat along the river trail. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place for a quick ski vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property! The radiant heat was wonderful at heating the house even when it was extremely cold outside, negative temperatures, the roaring fireplace helped too! We loved most things about it except for the noise from passing cars which was surprisingly loud in the master bedroom at night. The location was great, few minutes drive to downtown in one direction and the ski slopes in the other! The garage is very small, might be difficult to fit a larger SUV. We would definitely consider booking it again!

This is an absolutely beautiful property . The open floor plan main level boasts floor to ceiling windows that go up to and include the second story on two adjoining sides. The view is unbelievable. You can sit by the gas fireplace and look out at the entire Steamboat ski hill. From three well appointed bedrooms to a large walk in ski storage area to the fantastically appointed gourmet kitchen, this place has it all! We had 8 adults and could not have been more comfortable. We loved this home and will try to stay here again when we visit Steamboat the next time.
