Very unclean place, needs lots of work
First I have to say that the property owner was very communicative and did help us tack on an extra day as we arrived earlier than we originally planned, that was excellent. However, when we arrived the condo smelled like urine and was not clean. There was clutter in every closet and dresser drawers. ALL of the pots/pans had food stuck on them and we had to wash everything before we used it. Dog hair was abundant and we suffered from allergies at this place. Looks like many dogs live in this complex and dog crap everywhere in the courtyards including the stairs to access the condo, disgusting! The couch is one of the most uncomfortable couches we've experienced at a VRBO property. I would have been embarrassed to rent out a place in this condition. This place is simply outdated and not kept up, its unfortunate because with some care it could be a decent place to stay. At this point I would not waste my money on this place, there are much better condos nearby without these issues.

I am buffled by this review. As you mentioned I was very communicative so if you had so many concerns why you didn’t mentioned it to me I would be happy to address them immediately. Per HOA strict rules and rental agreement dogs are not allowed in the condo so dogs hair and urine smell is absolutely false statement. I had couple bad experiences with guests trying to get refund for night or cleaning fee so after each cleaning service I am using sends short videos of whole condo after each cleaning . That includes video of inside of fridge , oven etc.. This helps with situations like this. Older but comfy
The property is older but has everything we needed- I let the owner know the main bath needed grout/caulk in the shower. Hopefully that is fixed now. Decorated for comfort, views of the slopes and easy bus ride to ski!

Great location!
Aleksandra’s place was as listed and the perfect location for our stay. The condo was clean, easy to find, and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and a welcome relief after a long day on the slopes. We would stay here again!

Loved this cozy little mountain lodge. It is a short walk to the mountain with a shuttle that stops right there if you don't want to walk. Warning >> The parking is not obvious....read the map that they give you. I failed to read the map and struggled to find the unit in the dark. Once I figured it out, it was easy!!! Again >> Everything as advertised! Beautiful place. I'd stay again.

Cleaning deposit
The unit was NOT clean. Dirty dish sponge left on counter, hair in coffee pot, couch pillows dirty, place mats on table were all filthy and dead bugs in cabinets and bathrooms didn’t have soap or tissues. Spoke with manager after we cleaned the unit…she only offered to send cleaning crew Back. No thank we already did the cleaning…no refund offered on cleaning fee. Won’t stay there again!!!!!!

Thank you for your feedback however I feel this review is not fair. I personally inspected condo and did not find issues you mentioned. I was on the phone with you multiple times trying to address your concerns as well as explaining how to operate tv, turn on fireplace,lock the door etc…I offered to send back cleaning crew to clean again under your supervision but you refused. You also never mentioned you wanted any refund if that was the case you should just address that with me. I am owner not manager as you stated and I take those concerns seriously.

Great spot, once we got there.
Very much enjoyed our stay. It would be good to know when arriving, that the green and orange line city shuttles, provide service to this condominium, Shadow Run, and to the base Gondola, every 20 min. Red line takes you into town, from gondola. After 6:30, the Main line, shuttle goes to condos, downtown, and gondola’s until 12:15 am, every 30 min.

Comfortable, great location
Here are the most important features we look for when traveling: Comfortable beds, clean, safe, plenty of parking, a well-equiped kitchen, quiet neighbors and close proximity to our travel plans. The unit hit all the marks. A bonus, the hosts were available for our questions and were very friendly and helpful.

Nice Spot
We really enjoyed our stay in Steamboat. The condo is great and has everything you need plus we made use of the included bikes. The whole town is easily navigated by bikes so these were an awesome addition to the rental. It was hot when we were there and so I was nervous that the lack of a.c. would be a problem but it was fine. We ran the fans a little during the day and it worked out really well. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Location-Cleanliness questionable
Check-in: Knowing the owner gives out the door code the day of arrival would have saved me a lot of time. The day before arrival I waited on hold forever with VRBO who ended up telling me to call the owner directly. They gave me 2 phone numbers. One was disconnected and one sounded like a FAX. I thought I’d been duped. Alex did call me back within a reasonable time and explained she’ll give me the code the day of check-in. She was good to her promise, and as for check-in, that was all we needed to access the unit and that went smoothly! Cleanliness: When we arrived, we noticed immediately all of the floors were dirty. Upon checking the bathrooms, the bathroom mats were dirty with shoe prints and hair. We ended up washing them. My friend turned down her bed and discovered the sheet was ripped with the wrong side up, and most disgusting of all, there were crumbs in her bed. We were grossed out and doubted the sheets were cleaned…and then what else wasn’t cleaned? I texted Alex, sending her pictures and again she was quick to respond. She reassured us the sheets and duvets had been washed. We still were skeptical. The living and kitchen areas were nice, however rugs and floors were unswept and not vacuumed. The rug on the deck was rotted from the sun and we just folded what was left and moved it aside. Bed time was stressful imagining the sheets unwashed from the previous guests. The location for the unit is great! We still had a wonderful time as Steamboat is fabulous and always fun to share with our-of-state people!

Great, clean property!
This condo was nice and clean. Location is great with the bus stop right out front. One thing to be aware of is the inability to use the washer/dryer between 7pm-7am. This made it a bit tricky to wash ski clothes that needed to be laundered daily. Otherwise, it was a great stay with everything we needed. Great host, clean place, and a wonderful stay!!

Great condo, close to town.
Everything about renting this property was smooth and easy. The condo was super clean and well stocked for everything that we needed. It was quiet at night and just about a 10 minute ride from downtown Steamboat. We have a little bit of a hard time finding it, that was the only downside. However, we had the phone number of the owner so she is just a short phone call away. Alex was super prompt at answering messages left on the VRBO site. I would definitely return.

Nice condo in Steamboat
We enjoyed our stay at Alex's condo in Steamboat. The condo has been renovated, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was nice having the pool in the complex. There is also a playground managed by the town at the corner of the complex my kids enjoyed along the walking paths. One thing to note if you are staying in the summer, the condo and pretty much the whole complex don't have A/C. Not an issue 90% of the year being in the mountains but it happened to hit highs of 90 2 of the 3 days we were there. The unit did have screens on all the windows/doors as well as several fans which helped but with the unseasonable highs it would get pretty hot in the condo late afternoon/early evening. The listing is accurate, but wanted to mention since VRBO doesn't show common amenities that units don't include.

Overall pretty good
Most everything about this place was pretty good. The what seemed to be the master bed was great, however the second bed not so much (might be ok for kids but not older adults). Bathrooms are a little dated and master shower is small. If you are looking for luxury probably not your style but if you want a nice decent affordable place to sleep while you enjoy the outdoors then is place is for you. It was clean and owner responded quickly to questions.

Great Stay
We only stayed 1 night but Aleksandra was very accommodating. We didn't have any service though (and had some problems connecting to with the wifi at first) so communication was a tad difficult while we were actually there but once we were able to connect, it was fine. The beds were comfortable and we were very close to the slopes which was great. I would definitely recommend to friends

Fragile Countertops
The location, cleanliness, and accommodation of this property is great. The Owner is responsive. However, the kitchen counter-tops are extremely fragile and photo documentation upon your arrival is a must. We performed no cooking during our stay, but were assessed a damage fee due to a "burn" mark in the tops. Property and location are great, but be very weary of the kitchen counter-tops

Great Condo in a Great Location
We rented 2 units in the same complex for a family trip with varied stays. The layout of both units was exactly alike, but they didn't compare -- this unit was SOOO much better: We really wish we had used this unit for the longer period. The condo is in a great location, close to everything, and steps from the shuttle to the mountain. This completely updated unit has a great design concept, great bathrooms with tile showers and a very nice kitchen. The condo was very clean, and could not have been a better choice.

One Night in Steamboat Springs
We needed a place in Steamboat for one night. Weren't looking for anything fancy or in any specific location. This suited us very well. Easy in and easy out. Beds were very comfortable.

Great condo
Condo was very clean, beds are super comfortable. The pool was clean. There is a free bus that picks up near the building. It is definitely a bit far from downtown so you have to be mindful of the bus schedule and when the last bus runs. Overall a great stay.

Perfect Spot for a short getaway
Cute little condo, nestled next to the mountain. Gondola square is right down the street and the bus stop is just on the other side of the parking area, which was perfect to allow us to wander Steamboat and the surrounding area without feeling like we needed to keep track of where the vehicles were parked or for how long.
