Great location

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is a bit dated/tired, but still very comfortable for a large party (we had 8). Garage parking for one car was very convenient. The open air parking was very crowded but we got our second car in late night after waiting for an opening. Laundry in the unit. Hot tubs were nice and often busy. Easy access to the slopes - 5 minute walk with skis. 5 minute walk to Wild Plum. Shuttle was very helpful but needed to build in extra time as always busy. Ubers were easy to get when needed. Overall a great stay and would come back to this unit again assuming a big party.

Good Location, Could use some upgrades

Great Location, we were able to walk back and forth from the slopes, even with our skis. The building was older but serviceable and the garage good for parking and skis. There was a shuttle, but we didn't use it. Fireplace was great and plenty of room for a party of four. Easy check in and they were able to accommodate us early so we didn't have any awkward time between our flight and having somewhere to go. A couple small investments would have vastly improved the experience, some mattress toppers for the beds or nicer mattresses altogether as it was hard to get comfortable for the night, better toilet paper and more towels provided. As it was, it definitely felt like it was a business that someone was trying to squeeze every last penny of margin out of.

Nice accommodations, good location

The rental was clean and in good working order. We enjoyed the pool, hot tubs, and pool table on site. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in the rental too. The barbecue grills are shared by other guests, so that was the only inconvenience we encountered. We enjoyed our stay!

Ski vacation

Location was great for the price. Shuttle bus was awesome. Nice hot tub and pool. Parking was a nightmare, garage too small and not enough spaces for a second car. Condo is tired. Things didn’t all work properly and maintenance never came to fix after repeated requests. Lacking in the kitchen like only 4 wine glasses for a place that sleeps 10! Overall an enjoyable stay.

Annual Steamboat Trip

My college friends and I have been doing an annual trip to steamboat for 4 years now. First time staying at The Phoenix complex. Would highly recommend it, location is unbeatable. Having a heated garage for our unit was a game changer for all our ski gear. Staff was amazing and the whole process was extremely easy.

Not Enough Parking

The property itself was very nice and there was plenty of room. However, when you can sleep 12 people and there is only parking for 2 cars, there is a major problem. We had 4 cars and the front desk was unable to give us absolutely no ideas and where else we could park overnight. So we spent a lot of time juggling cars instead of leisurely strolling to the mountain. In my opinion, Vacasa/VRBO should offer a lot to park extra cars, even if there is a charge, to avoid all of the inconvenience. I will probably never stay in a property that close to the mountain because of our bad experience withthe cars. Also the Dish was not working right before the Superbowl started!! Luckily we had someone who could cast it from their laptop and plug directly into the tv - that would have been a huge diaster!

Convenient Location with Plenty of Beds

Guys' trip with 7 adults. The condo is conveniently located - close to the Steamboat Gondola as well as Christy's ski/board rentals, a burger restaurant, brewery and convenience store; all within walking distance. The kitchen is very well-stocked and other small items were included in the rental (some paper products, coffee filters, etc.). The condo has some books, movies, puzzles, cards, and even poker chips - which was a big plus for our group! Two minor items: 1) the condo walls are thin and we heard noise from the neighbors and snow removal workers every night, affecting sleep quality. 2) the beds were uncomfortable, but not too bad for a short stay. Both of these items seem fairly common based on my experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfection!

Steamboat is always great. This condo offered a heated garage which was so nice to store equipment, excellent location and plenty of space. Beds were not so comfy but other than that it was everything we could ask for!

Comfortable Condo and Great Location

Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed for a group of 10. Walking distance to gondola, about 5-7 minutes. Very close to hot tubs and pool. Would stay again!

Ok unit, good complex

The unit itself was a little disappointing. It could use some updating, nicer beds and bedding and furniture, didn’t have a/c, and we ran into some plumbing problems with a broken toilet and leaking kitchen sink. However, the property management was very responsive to the plumbing problems! The kids loved the pool and two hot tubs. Small parking lot, so if your group has more than 2 cars, someone is parking on the street.

We enjoyed our stay at Phoenix 208. Almost could not ask for a closer proximity to the slopes. The only slight negative is that house keeping could have done a slightly better job before our arrival. Underneath the beds in the bunk room there was trash/remnants from previous guests.

A short walk to the Steamboat Gondola

I was a little skeptical that this condo was as close to the ski lifts as advertised, but I discovered that it was indeed a short walk to the lifts. This condo is centrally located in relation to numerous restaurants and even a small grocery store nearby. You could conceivably stay for a week and never have to drive anywhere. As for the condo itself, it is well-maintained and with surprisingly spacious bedrooms. Our GMC Yukon Denali XL just barely squeezed into the garage but at least we were able to get it parked. Bottom line, I would book this condo again on my next trip to Steamboat.

Outstanding!!!!!!!

This property was everything as advertised! Spacious, clean, great amenities, and a short walk to the slopes. The free on call shuttle was an added bonus! We loved our stay and we love Steamboat!
