The only inconvenience was that the WiFi was down. However, that was in the entire area, not just the hotel. The front desk staff in the evening and morning were quite helpful and very, very nice.

The property was clean and we were pleased to have this 1-year young hotel to stay at for a family reunion we attended. The breakfast was good, everything clean and bed slept well.

We were in the area for a sporting event. This clean space was convenient and priced for our budget. It included hot and cold dishes for breakfast and offered rooms with refrigerators and walk in showers. Staff very accommodating throughout checkin to checkout.

Horrible experience upon arrival--the hotel had messed up our reservation and it was 1.5 hours before we finally were able to get into the room we had already paid for. The staff were nice, but there is a serious glitch in their reservation system. We had done a 3rd party reservation and that company had all the right info. The hotel charged my credit card, then gave my room to someone else, listing my phone and credit card info that would have allowed that person to charge additional items or trash the room and hold me liable. When we arrived, we were told there was no reservation and no rooms available. After much time, effort, and frustration, the assistant manager drove from home and got it sorted out, only after we threatened to call the police for fraud. The room was fine, but by that late hour we were too exhausted to enjoy it.

The staff was so helpful and enjoyable. Taylor and jolene were exceptional. Room was clean and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again.

Safe, Clean, and So Comfortable!
Ricky at the front desk was attentive and kind, making me feel very safe and secure. The room was spectacular; no ugly art or uncomfortable furniture! Everything was lovely and truly clean, without any weird lingering odors from bleach or heavy perfumes. I feel safe, comfortable, and in fact cosseted. Thank you!

Didn't like key card in slot to get power, remote for shade, complicated TV remote. I just wanted to watch TV. Did not like sliding door to bathroom. Hard to slide. Clean room Efficient staff.

We have stayed at few of the IHG hotels and it is always a great stay. It was easy to get around due to the location. Although nice out Saturday there was no opportunity to use the outdoor pool as it wasn't heated. I would stay again.

Stayed here at the last minute after the wifi in the hotel I was staying stopped working properly. WiFi here allowed me to carry on my business with no problems and even had an area in the lobby where I could print off anything I needed. The complimentary breakfast was far superior to other ‘free’ breakfasts that I’ve had previously. Will definitely be coming back here again when I’m in the area.

A Must Stay for Starke
Visited the hotel as a last minute stay. The staff was professional, kind and made it feel like we were very welcomed and were a long planned arrival. The room was clean, temperate inside was great, the condition of the room was roomy and in awesome condition, and the bed was very comfortable.

My first time at HI Express in Starke, Florida. It was a one night pass through but I was very impressed with the facility and the staff. Very clean and modern. I did not partake of the free breakfast but there were other guests eating as I was leaving.
