"Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend."

"We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. "The owners were amazing very good hosts. The room was very clean and very well kept. There was a choice of breakfast options, i went with the full cooked option. The food was obviously high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The area around the guest house was very quiet and peaceful at night. I will recommend and stay here again"
