"Our stay was great! The cottage was clean and comfortable. The common areas had games. We sat in lounge chairs at the lake watching the sunset. Great alternative for visiting kids at Ferris State. They really appreciated the home cooked meal that we could provide since we were not in a hotel. "

"Great cabin and property! We loved staying at the cabin, it was very peaceful and quiet. We absolutely loved the well groomed trails and our beagle loved them even more! We seen a great abundance of wildlife while sitting outside and walking the trails. If you're looking for a spotless, fancy and luxurious cabin or you're a picky person you might want to look elsewhere. However if you're someone like myself that don't seek absolute perfection and love a secluded cabin getaway from the everyday...

"The moment we pulled up to the drive way I knew it was going to be an amazing stay. From the cottage feel to the abundance of fun things to do (kayaking, fishing, grilling, outdoor / indoor games, and so much more!) there was no shortage of family memories to build. So much so this place would be good for a multitude of stays: from romantic getaways, family (infant and kid friendly) excursions, and even just a fun adventure with friends, the riverside retreat stay was a 10/5 in my book. "Lovely cabin- felt like we were up in the mountains. Plenty of private space and wooded area for the dog to run around. The host was great at communicating and answering any questions. The only thing to be aware of is the long two-track driveway that can be a little tricky in wet or snowy conditions. I would highly recommend and stay again! "
