  • Standing under the Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky. Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft (24 m) and is 65 ft (20 m) high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres (9 km2) of which approximately 1,200 acres (5 km2) is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve. #Nature

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Great place for a stay. It was a cool November night and the tent was dry and the heater was warm!. They did an excellent job of creating a “glamping” site. I will stay here again when I pass through eastern KY.

Pets were welcome, Host was very accommodating, tent was nice but bathroom was simple. The area was beautiful and we would stay in that area again! Very convenient to drive to all attractions.

I really loved staying on this property. It was super relaxing and peaceful. I had really wanted to camp but just couldn't get it together so this gave me the joy of camping and being out in nature but with a very comfy bed, a mini fridge, wifi, coffeemaker, and of course a clean bathroom and shower. I got the creature comforts but still got to be outdoors and sleeping in the fresh air. Parking was a marked spot. There was a fire pit and hammocks, and chairs to sit on the deck. I brought bug spray but didn't need it. There was a large grassy area which would have been great for my dog to run except he has to stay on leash or he will be gone. It is always nice to stay at a property that is dog friendly and also not to be charged extra for having one 35 pound well behaved dog. Check in was very easy but I should have watched the videos before I arrived as I couldn't get cell reception until I was logged into the wifi after I checked in. I do have Google Fi for cell. Wifi was no issue once checked in and connected. Most of the places I wanted to check out were not that far away. I was there to hike and just relax, and to sample the local food places.

Weekend trip

The tents were amazing, spacious and great views. Close to attractions and easy to find. We enjoyed the hammocks and the fire pit and loved the tent.

Short notice

tent was pretty hot during day as well as the facilities, but cooled off nicely at night. We booked on a short notice so price seemed fair. Other glampers were friendly and nice fun people. Property is idyllic in a number of ways for campers/glampers! Area is nice and quiet. I would book again!

Our new favorite place to stay in the gorge!

Our entire family loved this place! In fact, our two kids - 8 and 12 - were playing in the river every waking minute we were there. Super clean, including bathrooms, and everything you need. Even firewood! Close drive to anything you want to do in the Gorge. We loved not having to pack, setup and tear down our tents on this trip. Will definitely stay again and probably bring a group of friends to stay as well next time!

We really enjoyed the weather and location for this stay. The boys (9 & 11) were excited about the volleyball net and area and really loved all the conveniences inside of the tent. We will definitely be back!

Perfect clamping experience

We had the whole property to ourselves! Beautiful scenery, an incredibly well appointed tent with very comfortable beds and beautiful views of the river. Really nice expansive property that our dogs loved and an incredibly peaceful environment to unwind in. We will definitely come back, it was a really welcome retreat in a easily accessible and quiet area.

This is the perfect glamping tent with everything that you would need. They even provide free fire wood. The dogs had plenty of room to sniff and other guests there were friendly. Bathrooms and showers clean.

First time Glamping and we loved it!

What a great experience. Right on the river and fire pit provided. (Bring firewood) our travel dates were perfect. Peak colors and highs mid 70s. Yes, chilly at night which made sleeping wonderful in heated bed but just know you’ll have a chilly walk to the bathroom in the night and morning. Bathhouse extremely clean. We pretty much had the whole campsite to ourselves. Perfect.

This place was awesome!!

My stay here was great! The site was clean and matched the description exactly. It was great for an overnight get away. I bring my dog everywhere so it is great that it is pet freindly. I was able to let him swim in the river behind the site. The tipee included a heater/air conditioner if tempatures outside became uncomfortable. The bed was king size and heated. The bathrooms were nice, clean, and just a short walk from the site. They do not include towels in the stay, which is made clear, but there was soap and shampoo dispennsers in the shower. I brought my own but it will be good to know next time that I will not need to. There are individual hammocks and firepits in front of each site as well as a communal grilling area. I would recommend this site to anyone. The price is unmatched and I will dfinetly be back!!
