Beautiful home. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and nice touches throughout. Amazing view and deck to take advantage of it. It was perfect for our group of 6 adults to use as a base for hiking, exploring and visiting.

Beautiful and relaxing cabin in the woods! My friend and I spent the weekend in Cresta Blava celebrating her birthday. The house was just as beautiful as depicted on the website. It was clean, quiet, and we enjoyed the mountain views and star gazing on the deck.The kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans and utensils. They even provided some K-cups for the Keurig, dishwasher detergent, soap, paper towels and a starter of trash bags. It was more house than we needed as we didn't even touch the game room, but it was a perfect weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

Cresta Blava is the loveliest home in which I have ever stayed. The views from the deck were our favorite place to stay, as was the living room with the fireplace. We were 6 women, all family, and everyone was so pleased with our accommodations. Everything was sparkling clean, and there were so many very thoughtful details, including comfy cushions for the chairs on the deck, extra blanket throws for chilly mornings, and an incredibly well stocked kitchen, complete with every spice you could possibly need for cooking. Any questions I had were immediately answered. there were also very clear instructions about how things worked, which were very helpful. I would caution against driving a sports car up the hill to the house, because the road is a bit rough; our large SUV was fine. We would all love to return! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we had a wonderful family reunion!

Shenandoah family vacation

This cabin was absolutely spotless! It had a well stocked kitchen, excellent wifi and comfy furniture in the livingroom. We loved having the 3 bedrooms each with their own attached bathroom. And the view from the back deck was amazing! We didn't use the hotub because during our stay the temps were averaging near 100, but we very much appreciated the air-conditioning and the multiple thermostats to keep each area the perfect temperature. Highly recommend!!

Late birthday trip

Visited with my boyfriend as a late birthday trip for myself. We have visited this area of Virginia several times and have always enjoyed it. Cresta Blava was definitely the biggest, cleanest, and best maintained property we have ever stayed at. We both hope to return for a longer vacation in the future!

Holiday Vacation

My husband and I, our 3 and 6 year old sons, and my in-laws had an excellent time at Cresta Blava! The list of inclusions is more extensive than most rentals in my experience, and it is a beautiful, well-kept cabin with a breathtaking view. Wisteria Farm and Vineyard nearby has a playground for kids, and good wines. We also went hiking in the Shenandoah national park and to a winery further south. Overall, great location and accommodations!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful cabin

We stayed with our 2 year old, 5 year old and two friends and the house worked out perfectly for us. We especially appreciated the availability of baby stuff (pack and play, baby gate, high chair), beautiful views, and telescope. The rooms were lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable. We had a small hiccup and the owners were extremely responsive and someone was at the cabin within 30 minutes to help us. All around a wonderful stay and we will definitely be staying again in the future.

Wonderful place

Of the four cabins that I’ve rented this one is the best so far. It is beautiful and spacious. It’s in excellent condition, and has great amenities. It felt very private, even though it’s not very far from the main roads. I highly recommend it, and will probably rent it again.

Great weekend getaway

In looking for a place to stay for a wedding weekend, our 3 couple friend group had a few “must have” items! One was a view, one was a hot tube, and the last was three bedrooms with king beds and 3 separate bathrooms! When we found this gem we knew we had hit the jackpot!! It checked ALL THREE “must haves”! We spent hours in the hot tube, took in the views from the porch balcony, and ventured into Luray for a tour of the caverns and the best lunch. The house was clean, welcoming, and well stocked!

AMAZING!!!! All that needs to be said about this property!

What a wonderful, clean and cozy home….nestled in the woods on top of a hill overlooking what seemed like a little valley. This place had the most spectacular views, all amenities as your own home, and most important…just peaceful and surrounded by beauty! Thanks Katie for allowing us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in your home…we might just have to make it a tradition every year!

Mountain Weekend

We had a great stay at Cresta Blava! The house was exactly like the pictures and very clean! Perfect set up for 3 couples! The road leading up to the house is gravel and a little washed out in parts but definitely doable in a sedan with a little caution.

Amazing New Years Eve Weekend!

House was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need to stay in and cook. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit watching the sunset. Hot tub was perfect. Favorite part of the trip was cooking all of our meals together. Enjoyed the game room and watching movies! Perfect New Years Eve Weekend.

Wonderful Getaway

I highly recommend this property for a family getaway. The house is just as it is described, very clean, and has a well equipped kitched. Plenty of space for 3 couples. The fireplace inside, and the firepit on the deck were perfect accents to the beautiful view of the mountains.

Great Time

Stayed at Cresta Blava with my husband, children and grandchild for an extended weekend getaway and it was blissful. The house has a great layout with spectacular views. Katie has quick response time to questions and we would stay here agin.
