Several issues in the review we do not supply or state are not available. We don't provide pantry supplies, wi-fi and cell service are not available. The Mountain is in the way. We pay $110 a month to keep a land line in the building and it is the currently the only option available. With the look of the building, It rained, same with the deck. Same thing occurs when it is overcast in the winter. On a sunny day the Pictures are accurate. we have just placed a New AC unit in the Cabin. Unfortunately we were not able to change it out before this tenant. For the Chairs ,I weigh 220 and they hold me just fine. With the Foundation issue, there is Drain tile on this cabin that pulls water off the foundation usually weep age. Drain tile is a corrugated Pipe with mesh and rock barrier that drains water off a foundation. If water cam through as describes we would have constant water on the floor and we don't. This si checkable by the flooring in the lower level not having any water damage. We do have a new Futon ordered it has not arrived yet as of this writing. We thank the tenant to bring this to our attention.

The tenant stated that they would leave but it was too dark a 4:43 in the afternoon to make a 3 1/2 hour drive. There was 5 hours of day light left. We take pictures of every rental. The Conditions in the basement raised were not there in the Pictures. The AC does work . The units are a bit smaller because larger units freeze the Compressor due to the Elevation and Humidly. The smaller units work also because it is almost always 7f cooler at 2505' then the valley. The futon was replaced last March along with one Mattress. The other two Mattresses were Replaced the Year before. Our accuracy rating is 4.7 and 4.8 according to the site. the Pictures accurately represent the cabin. this is in excess of 225 reviews on all the sites we are on. Every complaint of theirs was blown out of proportion. One complaint was that a electrical outlet cover plate has a less then 1/3 of a millimeter separation between the cover plate and the wall was dangerous. it's not. IF they Left at 5pm and did not stay, we would have given their money back. They Stayed. We have a strict cancelation Policy to give us the most latitude in being fair with people. I offered 2 night back buy they refused and demanded everything back. VRBO gives us 14 days to check out issues. The Lawlesses wanted their money back right then. Mr. Lawless then starting complaining about gas prices, like we have any control. The Lawlesses' then started Harassing us. Mr. Lawless called us every other hour and in-between we were getting harassing messages on VRBO. When we got on the call with VRBO Mrs. Lawless Started calling me names. At that point they were completely unprofessional and we ended the contact. We are guessing that the Vacation got out of the Lawlesses Budget because of Gas Prices. We have seen this before, in other economic down turns. If the cabins gets out of your budget contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you. But if barraged with unsupported accusations we are forced to defend our reputation and go to the use the full extent of our posted policies.

My Wife and I had to fill in because of a call out on the cleaning crew. We finished 30 minutes before Mr. Rockett showed up the Conditions he describes DID NOT EXIST. MR Rockett said he wanted to Get in Early at 11:30...We could not allow to clean with covid Protocols. that have worked all pandemic. ...Then he left early and wanted all of his money back the after hearing that My Wife and I cleaned the Cabin he just wanted two nights back...my Wife is a CCU Nurse and we know how to make beds and Clean our building.

The Tennant Failed to Read Anything information we sent him. We Give detailed instructions due to the Inaccuracies of GPS and Map services in the area. The Dishwasher works just fine. The Tenant failed to READ the instructions. Thee Tenant was Hard on the Building. We Had to Replace a 3 year old Kitchen Faucet because the tenant cracked the mounting plumbing.. He was a just as "gentle" on the Chair as he was on theplumbing.

Hi Chris and thanks for the review, We totally respect guest privacy and simply made an error reading the schedule. As soon as we realized the error, we left the building as quickly as possible and tried to contact you every way we had available to us. Hurricane Isaias had just passed through the area. The storm dropped 8" of rain on the mountain. It takes several days for the forest to dissipate that much rainfall. We spray regularly for carpenter ants and other pest being so close to Forrest. Carpenter ant nest often relocate within an hour of a heavy rainfall. We usually win, but sometimes nature is faster then we are., You are a good guest and welcome back at any time.

We're in a Pandemic, and all of the businesses are coping the best they can as the rest of the country is. We have no control over what other businesses are open or not.

The tenant had an international phone number and it was not transmitting through our communications systems. We never had this issue before. As soon as we found out the issue we started trying multilabel ways of getting in contact with the tenant. We were having difficulties contacting them. We are doing our best to learn from this situation and adjust accordingly.
