"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rumwold shepherds hut. Perfect location for seeing the local area, we spent a day at Port Lympne and had a Sunday roast at The Woolpack Inn not far away. The communication and services have been brilliant, the little touches and aesthetic were wonderful. We are planning to come back with our little one and stay at the family hut in the spring."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Cabin, the log fire is a awesome touch. The cabin was extremely clean and cosy, light dimmers ad a really nice touch too. We was met with a complimentary bottle for valentines day which we thought was a lovely. The host's are very friendly and welcoming and at hand if you need anything.Were looking forward to our next stay"

A couple of previous reviews had commented upon general cleanliness and we found a child’s toy under the dining table when we got there and an odd sock behind the sofa, suggesting the cleaning wasn’t particularly thorough. Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk.
