"The location was perfect, generally clean and modern property. There was a bit of an odour, not sure if former smoker or recent cooking, but a few candles or room freshers is just needed and the bathroom door was not working and reported it, they said had been reported before us but could not get the parts… had to move to the lounge at times for privacy reasons . "Dry Dock Cottage has a modern, clean interior, is very well furnished with all you need for a very comfortable stay, a nice property, however, be aware that the two flights of stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow and as with most of Whitby parking is at a premium, the closest we could get was a 20 minute walk away"

"What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you. "

"The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot.
